All Event Suggestion Thread

12 of August is the international Elephant day
A summer event will be lovely to see it happen

There is 3 species of elephants nowadays, but were several other proboscidean relatives of elephants
Mastodons Stegodons Mammoth Deinotherium, straight tusked elephants , Gomphotherium, Platyvelodon
Also a twin-horned rhino-alike Arsinoetherium

pretty sure we had an elephant day event a while ago, and as much as i love elephants and especially mammoths, an entire summer event ONLY themed around elephants seems a bit repetitive to me (not because of the single elephant day event, but because an entire summer event with only them is a bit much.. also we had mammoths during the cave event)

For advent this year, I would REALLY love to see more items that fit other species, we have so few items for pets like deer, butterfly wolves, bunnies, rats, lions... It makes it hard to dress them up and it would be nice to maybe be able to have cozy winter sweaters for more species. Would absolutely adore seeing sweaters this year that match the scarves we got last year, or maybe hats to match in some way? I think it would be nice for paring some of the wilder scarves for sure!

African Safari for a summer event! In working on my country stamp project there's a lot of underrepresented African wildlife!

i noticed that there's some pets on the site that represent dia de los muertos, but they've been put in the halloween event, which i do find a bit disrespectful! dia de los muertos is very much NOT halloween, and there have been historical discriminations and prejudices against the event BECAUSE people keep associating it with halloween! as a mexican, i am requesting that those pets possibly be moved to the november archive, rather than halloween!

if this isn't possible, then i request that all future pets representing dia de los muertos be given either their own event category, or be placed in the november archive, as this is the month that dia de los muertos falls on!

honestly, i would love to see dia de los muertos receive its own event! its a very popular holiday, and it means so much to the people who celebrate it! and as a mexican, i wish to open it to you all to celebrate your loved ones as well! i think there could be some adorable pet designs, like calavera pets, or alebrije pets! even representations of the protectors of the afterlife! i think this could be a beautiful event, with beautiful pets and items to go with it, and i would love to see it considered!

I made a separate suggestion for this since I have some down time at work.I feel since it's an archive request it should probably be moved to make it more visible.

To add on to the suggestion, I'd love if some monarch designs could also be added as a "mini event" at the beginning of November. We don't have anything specifically monarch related (just orange and black butterfly).
