Suggestion: Remove The Pound Pet Message Entirely

full support, even as a kid i disliked the message and found it rather uncomfortable and awkward to read. it never nade me sad or upset but id be lying if i said i didn't find it cringeworthy (and im not using that word in a disrespectful way, just the best way i can describe the discomfort reading it makes me feel)

it's also just unnecesaey inbox clutter and ive not seen any support or fondness directed towards the message, personally. just discontent

Yeah I agree,, I don't really like how either it's like. Holding the idea of "the pet nearly being put to sleep until you adopted them" over children for wanting to trade their pets and feel it's kinda inappropriate imo. I also have never seen anyone who actively liked receiving the message, and maybe that's the point but like. why

if im correct the being put to sleep thing was actually removed from the message at a certain point which i wholeheartedly support because that's a very disturbing thing to tell a child who may have traded their pound pets. but the message still reads as very uncomfortable to me even with that segment removed

Just turn it off. I think it should be made more obvious how and where to turn it off from the get-go, but other than that, it's a simple thing to fix now.
