Add "Bookmarks" to the Upper Site Menu

Alternative title: "Make Bookmarks Easier to Use"

Mostly my suggestion is to add the "Bookmarks" link next to, or even in place of, the "My posts" link at the top of the page.

An added suggestion would be to move the actual "Subscribe" and "Bookmark topic" links further up the page, instead of nestled in with a bunch of information we only look at occasionally. A lot of other sites I've been on will add this feature at the top right above the first post.

I don't know about others but I find the current setup for bookmarks unintuitive, so even though I want to use the feature I keep forgetting it even exists. Either one of these changes would help a lot.

Support! I see so many people push for using bookmarks instead of bumping. I get it, but I also plain just didn’t know bookmarking existed for the first couple years on was on the site because the links are so tiny and in places I never have a reason to look. I get super frustrated when people get mad about people not bookmarking but the fact of the matter is that it’s just not, as you say, intuitive at all. Of course people are going to bump when the “my posts” section is clearer, bigger, and easier to find. I still RARELY use bookmarks even now simply because it’s a pain to mark each post because I have to scroll all the way to the bottom and find the tiny text. I also generally forget that I had things bookmarked because the “my bookmarks” tab is in a place I rarely look at because I never have a need for the other links in that little section. I think it would be great to add it to the top bar right next to “My Posts” and like you said, a bookmark topic link at the TOP of the page in a big, easy to spot font that can’t be as easily missed.

There are threads with tons of images, its very hard to scroll down on your phone while loading the images.

oh absolutely support! i always forget where they are and it's even harder to find the "bookmark post" button :(

There is, but it’s unnecessarily difficult to find and use (I’m on both my computer and phone fairly equally and both are difficult in my opinion). That’s what this post is about, not adding the option, but moving the buttons to be much more accessible.
