suggestion: same amount of warnings as dec 18th for item RRs

If items are transferred by trade, the NPC should also link the fair trade thread and what is this item thread in the trade itself, as well as a warning when trading. Similar to the suggestion here

Items apparently don't really have "rarities" like pets do, but I know there is obvious demand for plenty of items. I'd support the warning suggested if it's only for the UR items and items from maybe pre-2010? Or possibly any item over 10 years old? Because my best friend and I both got new-ish items, and I'd find it personally a little annoying to get that warning when our items are only worth approximately an uncommon from that year.

They warn for all Dec 18th rares, not just the most valuable ones though.
Also I think there were only 2 items were from more recent years from everyones pulls, the UR being able to be obtained in any.
1 rarer item, 2 older items and 2 newer items i think ^^

And thank you for letting me know about the items thing! I got these items which are from 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2021 respectively. My best friend got a baby bird from 2010, shorts from 2012, a cloak from 2014, shorts from 2017, and a headband from 2017. I'll be completely honest that I did not check with anyone else to see what they got, besides seeing posts of the new UR items, so I didn't know there was a pattern with the item rerelease. :)
I still stand by my "no warning for newer items" stance though, but older items 100% should have a warning like pets.

Fair! That would be ideal if they separated the items into different boxes, warning for the rarer/older items in their boxes but not the "newer" item box.

You might be wondering what's the big deal with today's gifts?

Today's gifts are special. These aren't new items, instead they are re-releases of older, rarer, and previous items from the past 15 years! You can adopt just a few items, which will be picked randomly. Good luck! We hope you get something nice.

The Item-rerelease is very different and much more valuable than normal advent gifts.

Don't trade these items until you know what they're worth.
It's a good idea to research what items you received before you trade, so you know exactly which item you've got and what it's worth. Getting ripped off in bad trades is the most common regret for CS players. Item-rerelease day is the worst date for bad trades! You may receive some terrible trade offers, so don't accept anything until you're sure it's definitely a good deal.

The Item-rerelease makes old and rarer items a little easier to collect and trade. You might not get super lucky with the items you receive, but the re-release will still benefit you. There will suddenly be a lot of new 2008 items and old event tokens floating around, so trading and collecting old items like those will become a little easier for everyone.

Cheating to get extra Item-rereleases is super obvious and easy to detect, so please play fair if you don't want to get banned.
Unfortunately, brand new members are not able to participate in today's gift as we have a high volume of cheat attempts on this date.
