Usually people value USD more than c$, and if it's preferred they will usually make c$ prices higher than USD (in terms of conversion)^^ not sure if that's the same intention here but that's what I think!!

Same idea, just because C$ is typically easier to get than USD, via adopts/pet trading/item trading. and because I personally value USD more than C$, and have a somewhat different conversion ratio.
