Even still being a small clan it is full of secrets within.

it is told by the elders that there is magic within the territory. Shadows and creatures that help us in ways we do not know of. They have all secretly guided each cat here in their own turn. Even if we do not remember it. In the trees and in the water there are always things ready to help us through it.

The Myth Of Star Lake~~

Nobody really knows how Star lake formed, but it is known for 2 things, its powers and the myth. The myth goes "The lake,full of secrets,full of animals, the birth place of all the mythical creatures that roam this land,those we see and do not." The Myth spreads around the clan like wildfire, even those who have heard it before still wonder its meaning and whats behind it. What creatures was it talking about anyways? there are other rumors aswell that when you go and lay by it you can hear it whispering. Though, nobody can vouch for if that is true or not.

Help on Mercat roles

Guppies; Guppies are kits who are able to shift to have a mermaid fin in water

Swimmers; Swimmers are the name of warriors who can shift to have a tail, swimming faster in water and able to dip into the water

Frys; Apprentices that are able to shift to have a tail underwater and are being trained by a warrior and/or a swimmer

Minnow; Medicine cat apprentices that can shift to have a tail underwater and collect underwater herbs and seaweed

Angel swimmer; Angel swimmers are medicine cats for the water, able to help mercats and land cats

Explanation on Mercats

Mercats have unique tails that they can shift into when underwater, able to stay on land aswell,just not for as long. A mercat can happen when a normal cat/mercat has kits with a mercat,often,though not always passing the mer trait down the line! Mercats tails often show when they are young but sometimes they show up later in their life. Mercats hunt in schools,their term for a underwater patrol! A group of Mercats in their base is often labled as a Swarm or Herd! The land cats call them a herd though! Mercats originated from sea foam.

ECHOSTAR

About her; Echostar grew up as a kittypet called Rina with her Mother before she founded MistClan

Backstory; (Tw; Death)
Rina was staring around the twoleg nest, it was dark and her mom was nowhere to be seen. She looked around nervously, she heard a monster roar come from another room. Rina whined standing up going to look around for her mom. She wandered around the dark twoleg nest jumping at every little noise around her. She held her tail between her legs running out of the two leg nest. Rina looked around the outside, the 6 month old cat wandered around nervously. She saw the thunderpath and squeaked seeing the monster charging across the thunderpath. She stuck to the ground coughing letting out a wheeze she looked around. She trembled as Monsters kept rolling by. She looked around for her mom the sky almost a pitch black as she wandered. Rina looked around calling out "Momm!?" she asked looking around. Finally Rina noticed her mom just laying on the ground, the grass seemed a weird red color. She pawed at her confused, her mom let out a small mumble, she kept tapping her her face growing worried. She stared at her mom "Mom..?" she asked poking her, her moms gaze locked with her "I love you dear-" her mother began, drooping, she continued "I'll miss you, go-go- run- I'm always with you-" her mother said finally before closing her eyes. Rina let out a glass breaking cry, tears streamed down her cheeks as she poked her mom "MOM! MOM! N-NO!" she cried burying her face in her moms fluffy fur. She kept crying helplessly watching her mom, taking in her scent before it was lost. Her mind was whirling as she lifted her head looking around. She dragged her mom to a hole and buried her still crying. She sat down beside the grave her tears slowing. Soon enough she was just staring at her moms grave, she couldn't cry anymore, she felt empty,dull to that point. She curled up and slept there for the rest of the night. ~even as she grew older she would still have nightmares of that day, even years after~ {she is now 12 moons old} Rina looked around, she had taught herself how to catch fish, she listened to the echo's of the water through the valley and sighed. "I'm going to pick a new name" she told herself "I know wanna be known as Echo!" she said twitching her tail holding her fish, the name Rina seemed in the past now, it was the start of a new day,new life. {20 moons old} EchoStar had started her clan awhile back now, still clinging onto her mother. "I'm doing this for you mom" she said sitting out of her den hugging her tail.

BUD

About her: Bud grew up with her family and has/had a very tight bond with her sister Fawn


Backstory: Bud used to be a loner, the stars guiding her journey until she met MistClan. Lets start from the beginning; Bud was a very tiny kit, the runt of the litter. And when she was born missing a leg everybody basically gave up all hope on her. The only other person that still had faith in her was her sibling Faith. Bud didn't even have a name until she was 4 moons old as her family didn't wanna waste a name they loved on a cat who probably wasn't gonna make it anyway. Even as she grew older Faith was the more favored one. The reason she was named Bud is because that was Faith's nickname for her. Even then Bud had her own space, she was eerily aware the only person that thought she would live was Faith. When Bud was 6 moons old she became deathly sick with an unknown sickness. The only reason she made it was due to her studying herbs in her free time. She told Faith the looks of the herbs and let her gather them for her. When she fell asleep she had weird dreams, when she told anybody nobody would listen, only Faith would listen. Bud would explain the best she could to Faith, She would describe it with her movements, words and items around them. She loved explaining them while Faith nodded eagerly. Once she finally got better she learned to hunt, she was pretty bad at first but then finally learned how to hunt well. Bud grew stronger, learning how to overcome her weakness. One day their parents left them, they were nearly 10 moons old, Bud wanted to go with Faith but got lost, she told herself they would see each other again eventually. She ran into the clan one day, half starved from the lack of prey she could find. The patrol brought her back to camp, the kits scrambling to meet the new cat. Bud looked down at the kits smiling at their tiny bodys. They made her giggle watching them scramble around her. The queens called to their kits apologizing to her and the patrol. Once they finally saw Echostar, Bud explained everything apologizing to her. Bud watched them expecting a upset response but Echostar understood and let her stay, learning about her ability.
