Remember when you were a child, and you found yourself lost amongst endless trunks, shrubbery, and greenery. Nothing pointed the way home, and you were all alone. Fear takes hold in many different ways, and loneliness is no exception. Imagine that fear, swallowed by the edge of a cliff side. If you look over the edge, you will see you are not just on any hill or mountain top, nor do you have any as semblance of getting down, for below you is clouds. That fear is what consumed the felines that first found this fantasy, this amazing dream of floating thousands of feet above the ground.

Little did they know, this island they traversed was originally but a grain of sand. A small sliver of what it is today. It grew over time as it travelled to the edges of the world, moving alongside the birds, clouds, the bugs and the wind. Today it is rather large, bigger then any could even come close to imagining, a whole continents size. It is split into several sectors, some higher then others, and human bridges connecting them all alongside vines, tree roots, and other various connections via nature itself.

The land is covered in trees, mountains, rivers, ponds, lakes, and human settlements. While humanoids no longer walk this land, they have left behind a foot print that will stay for generations to come. The cats that live here now, and have for sometime use these destroyed buildings as there own homes to protect them from the elements, and creatures that live on the same land such as dragons and hippogriffs.

The current generation of cats have separated the place into ranks of societies based on where the island lands when it touches ground. The places that have easier access to the ground when the mass of rock stops floating are considered entrances to their home and only rogues or guards inhabit this land. A little farther in is where civilization really lies for these felines as the low class lives amongst the rubble and groves here. Much closer to the highest plateau is where Royal Guards, and servants live. Behind the border of the servants housing is the nobles quarters, and farther in is the royal castle. An old watch tower changed into a home for very special cats.

Usahgi - Emporer - ♀ - Homosexual - 42 moons -- X

Usahgi is a great leader named after the many leaders before her. She is strong willed, kind, but strict. She has a strong opinion on how things should be done, and follows through with this code. A strong note however, is she is techniquely not the one to make all the rules, simply aprove of them and be a figure head for the clan. She still pokes her nose into how things are run despite this, and has made her ideas clear to all those that can hear her. The love for her people is strong and she will fight for their happiness no matter the cost.

Aster - Eternal Mate - ♀ - pansexual - 38 moons -- X

Aster, one of the few cats who don't follow the name tradition, is Usahgi's mate, and one true love. the two of them have been together since they were less then a moon old, and often refer to those older times when they can. Aster is a proper lady, quiet and sincere. Her job is less active as her mates, as she is to just look pretty, and allow those to believe she's important. In truth, she is to provide heirs for Usahgi, and take care of the children Usahgi may have. She also dips her paw into situations she isn't born into. Such as re-arranging ranks, employments, and other little things most don't notice.

Ai - Adopted Prince - ♂ - 24 moons -- X

A mischievous little fellow. Adopted by the emperor as a means to provide children for non royalties such as nobles and below to nod approvingly of. At least, that is the excuse. Usahgi felt sorry for the two twins and took them in as her own. Ai has no real right to the throne, but acts as though he just might manage to weasel his way in. Even though he is technique an adult now, he has no direct position of ruling or occupation of any sort. He does however help set up parties, balls, and entertainment from time to time. It is also noticed that their might be something up with Ai that others aren't sure of.

Yuu - Adopted Princess - ♀ - 24 moons -- X

Yuu is as quiet as the Eternal Mate, but much more feisty on the inside. She's Ai's biological twin. A real adventurer, and loves to leave the kingdom from time to time to learn about the world. She has a fleeting heart that tends to fall in love easily, and doesn't tend to her duties all to well because of these hobbies. She is to help with royal duties, such as assigning jobs to royal gaurds, and helping form treaties with other clans.

Madoushi - Prince - ♂ afab - 32 moons - X

A princess from an entirely other kingdom, assigned to marry Yuu in the coming future. I've already mentioned much of this cat on the adopt page, but none the less, I shall mention again. They are a runaway princess, because they decided to be male and new the disapproval that would come from the family if they found out. While a rogue, they found Yuu, and fell deeply in love. The two adventured together to rid the world of trans hatred.

Kotori - Royal Child - xe/xem - 4 moons - X

The blood child of the Emperor and her mate. Kotori is to small to really have any development yet, but seems to have a strong attachment to a bird egg. Usually carrying them on xir head, and closely guarded. Kotori will be heir to the throne, and has a lot to work up to.
