Clan Link ;; Etymology
๐”„ fire is what made this clan, and a fire was put out before the modern age of this territory. SunStar, leader of the clan, and dubbed Comet Keeper by his father takes care of this pride. Drop of the Comet's Tail, or otherwise known as Tailless Comet, is a decently sized clan of cats that follows a simple warrior code, and lives in the wilderness to survive. Atop a cold mountain, the cats burrow like moles to keep warm and survive. They have a series of tunnels they use for multiple things, not just living, and has saved them from many woes. Surrounded by thick shrubbery, and steep cliffs, not many creatures can sever passed the border of the camp's border.

๐”—hough if any managed to peruse near the home of these felines, they would be met not only with powerful warriors, but, what seems to be a deity to them, a creature that isn't cat, but protects the clan. It is a Hamadryad, a humanoid character that is sworn to protect those born on the land it sleeps. They are not the only supernatural creature roaming though. Dragons walk the ledges of the mountains, and live in the rivers and lakes. Fairies sleep in the grass, and hop from bush to bush through the seasons. Many humanoid characters surround the territory as well. Such as Dwarves, Elves, and Hobbits.

๐”’ur dearest leader, however, doesn't believe in such things. Only hums the myth of there land out of habit, and finds himself biting his tongue when such subject arises. He rules his territory with CrowMask, his Comet-Holder, and secret lover. Together they look after several 'dragons', 'angels', 'foxes', 'archs', and kittens. The Dragons keep the enemies, and threats at bay, as well as keep the dens built, safe, and stocked with food. The Angels keep the pride healed, stocked on medicine, and the sick from getting sicker. The foxes watch over the kittens, feed them, nurture them, teach them the ways of the world. This is the way of Tailless Comet.

Code of the clan

๐•ฏ๐–—๐–†๐–Œ๐–”๐–“'๐–˜ ๐•ฎ๐–”๐–‰๐–Š
โ‘ . Tree Walkers are not allowed near the camp
While there is several humanoids that live at the foot of the mountain somewhere, none of them get close to it's peak. This is due to the protection given to Tailless Comet by the ancestors of the cherry blossom tree that grows just above the Comet Keepers den. Though occasionally few can get near, thus there has been a rule to scare, or even fight them off away from the home.

โ‘ก. The clan's life comes before you
This mostly refers to food. Everyone is to be fed and be healthy before you even get a chance to be taken care of. You are a tool to be used to keep the others safe. Die for the clan if you must.

โ‘ข. Enemies of the clan don't get second chances
Usually most cats clans get a treaty offer. signed in blood on a stone in the territory or by word/blood of the leaders of the clan. If they refuse this treaty, they don't get another chance at befriending the clan, and all who enter there territory who are against them are often killed. this is to keep the clan safe.

๐•ฌ๐–“๐–Œ๐–Š๐–‘'๐–˜ ๐•ฎ๐–”๐–‰๐–Š
โ‘ . Never let a patient suffer
Pain is apart of the soul, but the soul mustn't be in pain for long. If there is nothing that can be done to stop the pain, accept starclan's plans, and let the cat go. Never let a cat suffer, for it will only cause more pain.

โ‘ก. All premonitions must be told
Nothing from StarClan should be kept a secret. It must be told. Specifically to the leaders of the clan so that they may protect the clan. These tales must be kept between just those who StarClan trusts for it may be re-told incorrectly. The tales and prophecies of the stars are to important to be kept quiet or to be led astray.

โ‘ข.Death must be celebrated
Death isn't the end, and isn't even the beginning, all lives must be given great celebration for the work they have given to the earth itself. Sadness is allowed, and even mourning, but it mustn't get in the way of the happiness that the cat had brought to it's fellow kin. Each cat must be celebrated, not lost.

Other then the laws above, there is several general rules. No killing, no stealing, no attacking clan members. Harassment in many forms is punished, and causing general physically, or emotional damage is against the rules. There is more, but I won't go into any more detail on it here at the moment.

When causing trouble, or breaking the above code, you will be detained as soon as dragons are able to find you. There is conversation amongst any witnesses, the cat who created the chaos, and the leaders of the clan. If well behaved the cat will be considered for, however if the cat fights, or has done so much harm that it can't even be looked on, they may be exiled, or put on eternal watch.

Exiled means no coming with in 500 meters of any clan border. They will be given a large identifiable scar that warns all neighboring clans that they are trouble, and should not be welcomed. If they break this they can be killed to protect the clan. Usually only given to serious crimes.

most crimes are condemned to be put on Eternal Watch. Two cats, usually one claw and one fire, will be with them, awake, at all times to judge their future actions for an allotted time based on the leaders. In serious cases, this spans the trouble maker's full life time, though a lot of the time it's only a couple of moons. These cats are never allowed near the nursery, are tied to camp for there first week, and only wherever there watchers want to go after that. They are removed of there freedoms in the camp.

Minor crimes are usually met with manual labor, things like cleaning camp, taking care of elderly, etc. The crimes qualification is varied by the details and isn't specific enough to label till the deed is done.

Leaders of the clan

Comet-Keeper - โ™‚ - 130 โ˜ฝ
Leader of the clan and is one of the oldest members of the clan. He has been in charge for ages, but never alone at his job. He has had lots of cats in his life, helping him, being with him, fighting against him. He's been through a lot, and still has a lot to go through. He's strong willed, and a bit stubborn, but truly loving of his clan. Even though he doesn't believe in the myth that protects the clan, he too is protected by the hamadryad. A cranky, stubborn old man who stands his ground and cares for those around him.

Comet-Holder - โ™‚ - 66 โ˜ฝ
Crow is an important member of the clan, following Sun's every move since the day he was chosen to hold this position. No one questions Sun's choice, even though they all know Sun is biased towards the Holder despite the fact that Sun and Crow think there romance is a secret. The two of them have gotten there clan through harsh times thanks to Crow's last minute decisions, and Sun wouldn't have it any other way. Everyone in the clan respects Crow, and very few don't like him. When it comes time for Sun to step down, Crow will gladly follow suit.

The Comet-Keeper is chosen by a vote from the previous Comets. They pick the most viable candidate long before the end of there reign. Usually they do this within the first two years, but don't announce it. If both die before their chosen Keeper is announced, it is done by democracy. Each cat getting a vote, though usually the next Keeper is announced by the current Keeper or Holder within the last life of the Keeper's nine lives.

The Holder is decided by the new Comet Keeper after they are announced as leader, and is usually someone the newly appointed leader is close to, but is required to have a history of being a Dragon. The newly appointed Holder cannot start leading however till they take the ceremonial journey. This journey is only accompanied by their chosen Holder. The cat must travel north down the mountain, and along a treacherous mountain peaks to a hill known as 'The Passage of Stars'. At the mouth of a cave the two must separate, where the Comet Holder will spend time alone in this mountain's stomach. Time is decided by the leader, however long it takes for the stars themselves to speak to them before they return to there clan.

When they return to there clan, an announcement is made by both the Holder, and the Angel Leaf that StarClan has accepted the new Keeper, and the Keeper makes there first speech to the clan below the branches of the great cherry tree. Their new reign will last however long they either live, or till they grow to old to rule.

Blooming Puddle
Diety of Spring
Image
The cats of Tailless Comet have four sub deities that work under the hamadryad's control. They are symbols of the seasons, and can be argued to not even be real. They are also a connection to Star Clan, and many Angels have claimed to speak with them directly. BloomingPuddle, the deity of spring, is one of these four deities and is the oldest of them all. They are symbols of growth and age. Celebrations of adulthood and merriment are often associated with Bloom, as well as childhood whimsy. Those who are young at heart can often be referred to as 'Blooms reflection'.

On the second moon of the season of spring, which is called BloomingPuddle by the cats not spring, a celebration of apprentices coming of age happens. Large amounts of food is hunted, the dens are decorated, and a restlessness takes the air. Those that are old enough, and it's their first time, get to be adorned with flowers and charms of protection. Speeches take hold as the cats share tongues and meals. Finally, spring butterflies I released from jars in mass amounts before the celebrations end.

More goes on at these gatherings, games and such. Each one is different based on what is going on at the time, as large amount of noise, and activity can cause disaster if their is to many predators or enemy clan cats nearby.
