Gʀᴀᴠᴇʏᴀʀᴅ Kɪᴛsᴜɴᴇ

Name:
Bás and nothing more, nothing less. It is simple.

Pronounced:
BAWS, not Boss, mind you.

Meaning:
Death. It is not meant to be morbid. It isn't even the
name I was born with. Do I know my birth name? No,
but that's alright. I like this one better.

Origin:
Old Irish, not Gaelic. Everyone assumes it's Gaelic, but
Gaelic is actually a broader term that includes both Irish
and Scottish.

Gender:
Genderfae. I learned it from some kids, there's a
school just down the road from here. It means "a
fluid gender that never encompasses masculine".
So you can refer to me as non gendered or feminine,
but never masculine. I think that suits me fairly.

Pronouns:
She/Her, They/Them, Fae/Faer.

Sexual Orientation:
Demisexual. It means I don't particularly have an
attraction of this nature until I form a close bond of
sorts with someone.

Romantic Orientation:
Demiromantic. It means I don't particularly have
an attraction of this nature either, until I form a
close bond with someone. Very similar.

Age:
Originally about 23, but now I must be well over
200 or so, I've lost track over the decades.

Nationality:
Irish. Plain and simple.

Creature Type:
Church Grim. In English folklore, a Church Grim
is an animal who was buried alive beneath the
church so they could guard the church as a spirit.
It's normally a black dog or a sheep, but who's to
say I can't break any rules? I once was just a wee
Kalon, look at me now.

Religion:
I'm... Unsure. I'd rather not talk much about it,
lest I be plagued with an existential crisis the rest
of my night. I used to believe in... Christianity. But
after my predicament I have been questioning my
beliefs quite a bit.

Place of Birth:
A town that no longer technically exists because
it was so small and had no real name. No one really
knew about it and when other towns and cities
started developing, they kind of just bulldozed over
this place, minus the church thanks to me.

Current Home:
The Church of Heavenly Followers. It's located in
the middle of the woods, deep, in a town I don't
know the name of and never bothered learning. Not
many living people come by unless they're around
specifically to vandal, and even then I don't know
much about how they get here.

Job Title:
Protector of the Church. It's easy, and it's a great
job. Personally, I love it. Sometimes I need a break
from the place though, so I'll sometimes let newly
assed spirits take a turn to watch it so I can go
wander the nearby town and "rest" a bit.

Mother Tongue:
Old Irish, though I only use it sparingly now. Kids
these days don't understand much of the old language
thanks to the English colonizers.

Languages Learned:
Modern Irish, English, French. Modern Irish and
English have become a bit entwined I've noticed.
And French I learned purely because I believe it is
the language of love. It's very beautiful, I must say.

Birthday:
April 26th. I'm surprised I still remember.

Likes:
Rain, the sound of birds, flowers, life generally,
summer nights, stars, reading romance novels,
bumblebees, butterflies, and cats.

Dislikes:
The Devil, hoodlums, the original church owners,
being alone for too long, chocolate, and just overly
sweet tasting things in general

Friends:
Fate
and Ankou Dullahan,
I love them dearly! They are my best friends,
and they also help me with my work a lot!

Addiction:
Playing cards/gambling cards, that's why I try not
to play cards too often. Especially since I have no use
for any euro!

Bad Habits:
Nail biting, neglecting to upkeep my hair, being
too nice to some mischievous kids who come by
looking for trouble, you know.

Good Habits:
Being neat and tidy about church and graves,
hostess skills for when my friends and new spirits
visit. I consider those habits because I do them
without thinking honestly, it becomes routine.

Neutral Habit:
Whenever someone interviews me such as this I tend to speak a little bit more eloquently. But on a normal day I talk more casually because I don't feel like I have to put on a performance or mask in order to look professional. Like this whole time I was talking in a certain way, but this is not how I normally talk. It's a habit, I like to appear more polite in certain circumstances.

Disability:
The eyes on my shoulder and tails are blind,
I have chronic pain in my right shoulder (it's tolerable
but if I'm on it for too long I end up needing a
sling, which I keep nearby).

Hobbies:
Reading romance novels, cleaning up the
cemetery and church, planting flowers,
playing a kalimba, and writing poetry. Some
people find my poetry a bit dark, but I find
the topic of death to be both neutral and
beautiful.

Education:
I am a high school graduate, one of the
very few girls at my school to do so!

Fears:
The possibility of a second more
permanent death, losing a soul,
failure at my job, and definitely
tarantulas (spiders are okay).

Dreams:
I'm already living my dream, I just hope
one day if I get tired I'll be able to eventually
retire.

Self Perception:
Hm, I think I have a decent self-esteem,
I think I'm doing good at my job and I'm a
pretty good person, I don't really have
much a negative thought about myself. I
feel content. I feel like the world is fresh
and new and great. Quite the positive
outlook, if I do say so myself.

Strengths:
I have the power to control and conjure
things made of stone, this has given me
insane strength and a great amount of
focus during an adrenaline rush, I am a
very focused thinker naturally, and I am
great at solving puzzles and riddles and
the like.

Weaknesses:
My shoulder may hold me back at
times, once I am in super-mode it
takes a while for me to cool down,
and I can be a bit reckless and savage
when defending the church.

Powers:
I have the ability to make things
out of stone, such as headstones
and mausoleums. I can also create
avalanches of stone on anyone who
dares cause problems and encase
then in a stone tomb. Of course,
I release them afterwards and send
them crying. I can also sense when
someone is about to die. I will toll
the Church bell when that happens.
Originally I did to to warn the town
of impending death, but now it's out
of habit. I can also sense if someone
is going to heaven or hell. I don't
need to know, I just do, it's in their
spirits auras. It's like seeing color.
