This cat is a very determined yet jealous cat. Write about a time where they lost in something to another cat and their jealousy overcame them.

cat's name: Scorpion -- Scorpionfang
cat's gender: she-cat
cat's age: 24 moons
prompt fill:
It was always easy, being the toughest cat on the block. Scorpion was not one to be scared of a challenge, nor was she scared of letting others know that she was strong. She had a way of getting others to do what she wanted, if only by intimidation. She was manipulative and eager to grow into more power, leading through fear rather than leading through charisma. Not many dared to challenge Scorpion's rule of the Twolegplace she called home... at least not until her older brother returned for a visit.
She hadn't seen him in many moons, over a year. She was still a kit when he was lost, her mother distraught, but her father acting like he had something to hide. Later, Scorpion realized he took her brother away, but it didn't matter. She preferred being the only kit, able to rise up to lead the Twolegplace like her father had always wanted her to do. She was stronger than her brother, bigger than him, and more confident. He used his words, trying to talk himself out of situations, smiling at everyone... but Scorpion intimidated, she demanded, and she used her power to her advantage. She did what she had to do to make it to the top, to be noticed by everyone. It wasn't how she wanted to lead, but it got her into power. She had to follow in her father's footsteps.
Unfortunately, her brother was much better at making friends than Scorpion ever was.
When he came back, he insisted he wasn't staying for long. He had family to go back to, cats he now called brothers and sisters, and even cats he called mom and dad. It made Scorpion's blood boil - the fact that he could return moons later and still be the favorite among the cats she led. The anger made Scorpion lose herself, lose all control, and snap.
She attacked him. The unprovoked battle didn't last long - her brother's supporters saw to that. It was enough for them to finally revolt against her rule, seeing her for the cat she was; a monster, not a leader. Her own family banished her from the Twolegplace. They begged her brother to stay in her stead, the kit that hadn't been in the Twolegplace since he was a kit named Kiwi. A pathetic, sniveling kit who couldn't even fight.
Kiwi refused the leadership, leaving the Twolegplace cats to decide who to replace Scorpion. In the end, Scorpion apologized to Kiwi for attacking him, and her brother was gullible enough to accept the apology without a second thought. Scorpion was still getting what she wanted as she followed him back to his clan, to the cats he called family. She could never forgive him for taking power away from her, and she vowed to take something away that he loved. Perhaps even lead these cats that Kiwi seemed so enamored with. Scorpion just wanted to be heard, to lead, to feel like she was meant to do something.
She would get her revenge on Kiwituft. No matter what. She just had to figure out how first...

Those born under the year of the rat are creative and amiable, but can be scrappy and judgmental as well.
What was a time where this cat's well-intentioned action did not go entirely as planned? How did they adapt?

cat's name: Ratscratch
cat's gender: tom
cat's age: 16 moons
prompt fill:
He was young. He was dumb. Perhaps he didn't know any better, or perhaps he was just selfish. Either way, he hurt the cats he wanted to befriend.
Ratscratch had always seen the Shiningclan cats around, watched their training sessions, shadowed their border patrols from the treetops. He had thought he made friends with a couple of the apprentices, meeting them at the border at night in secret, the rest of the clan unaware. It was usually Shrewpaw and Batpaw, two brothers. The three cats became best friends, and Ratscratch felt like he finally had something close to a family. But when Shrewpaw decided to bring in Shimmerpaw and Mousepaw, Ratscratch felt overwhelmed - suddenly, Mousepaw was getting all of the attention. Suddenly, Shrewpaw and Batpaw were laughing with the others instead of Ratscratch, and he felt like an outsider again.
The young cat had meant to set up a time for him, Shrewpaw, and Batpaw to be alone again - just the three of them. He had meant to rekindle their friendship without Mousepaw or Shimmerpaw, and he meant to feel like he could belong again. He never knew that his plan would go so horribly wrong, and he definitely never intended it to.
It was Ratscratch who suggested they get together on the outside of the border and check out a fox den. He hadn't seen the fox in a long time, the den empty. He hadn't thought that perhaps another fox would take it's place, move into a home that was already established. He never thought that the day would go terribly wrong, and that he would lose a friend because of it. He just wanted to have fun. He just wanted to be cool to Shrewpaw and Batpaw again.
In the end, the fox took Batpaw's life. Ratscratch and Shrewpaw were lucky to escape with their lives thanks to the Shiningclan patrol that happened to hear the commotion, chasing the fox away. Ratscratch ran away from the area, not wanting to confront Shrewpaw, only able to see the horrid look in his eyes as he realized he lost his brother. Ratscratch knew he wouldn't be able to look at Shimmerpaw and Mousepaw again, to tell them he was the reason Batpaw was no longer around. He couldn't.
Ratscratch didn't come back for many moons, choosing to isolate himself from any other cat. It wasn't easy being lonely, but he thought it was what he deserved - he thought others would be better off without him. But Shrewpaw, now a warrior of his clan named Shrewfoot, came looking for him. He asked him to join the clan.
And he gave Ratscratch something he thought he never deserved - a family.

These cats are very compassionate and overly-trusting. They hate when their past comes back to haunt them. Write about their past life that they ran away from before they came to your clan.

cat's name: Lotuspetal, Lilyblossom
cat's gender: she-cat
cat's age: 15 moons
prompt fill:
Lotuspetal and Lilyblossom have always been inseparable, from the moment they were both able to walk on shaky paws around the nursery. They have always been a happy duo, seeking to spread happiness and laughter however they can. Wise beyond their young moons, it wasn't uncommon to hear them giving sound advice to cats double their age. Nothing is a topic off-limits for the two she-cats... except for one. Their past.
Often, when cats are telling the sisters about their own pasts, Lilyblossom and Lotuspetal will gain a far off look. Their focus shrinks. If the conversation turns towards the twins' past, they will politely find a way to exit the conversation or change the topic. They choose to ignore the whispers that follow them in the clan now, because they don't want anyone to know - the time they put their trust into the wrong cat.
Lotuspetal and Lilyblossom don't talk about it, but there is a third sister; a calculating, icy cold cat named Leafstem. Quite unlike Lotus or Lily, Leaf was always the leader; more outspoken, dictating where they should go and what they should do. Leaf wanted to fight, something neither Lotus nor Lily had much favor for. It distracted Leaf from ever forming a close bond with her two sisters, though they were still bonded to one another. At least until Leaf attacked.
It was the time they all became warriors, the day they had been waiting for for a long time. Leaf was the most keen out of all of them to take their assessment, bragging to anyone who would listen how she was going to be the best fighter the clan had ever seen. When it came time for the sparring match, Leaf ended up paired with Lotus. The session went fine, the warriors overseeing the match satisfied after only a couple practice leaps and jumps. But it wasn't enough for Leaf - she wanted to show off, to prove that she was strong. In a fit of rage, the she-cat leapt at Lotus, giving her sister a deep scratch along her side that delayed her warrior ceremony for a couple of moons. Thought Lotus and Lily could both plainly see the regret etched deep on Leaf's face, their sister never offered an apology. She never tried to speak to her more docile sisters again, thinking them weak.
As Leaf started gaining popularity among the clan for her strength, Lily and Lotus decided it was time to leave. They never looked back, choosing to forget about their old clan, to forget about their sister who just wanted to spar and grow stronger to prove that she could. They had a different path in mind - to show their strength through words.

THE KING
username: Kazin
partner's username: broken* (form here)
Cat's name: Prints
clan the cat will be going to: Chaosclan
describe a time the king and the knight had an argument. what happened? how did they handle the conflict?:
Perhaps it was her name that always made her feel like she was set apart from her peers. After all, how many she-cats could say they had the name Prints? It was strange enough that cats would do a double take whenever she introduced herself, and strange enough that she never wanted to change it. As she had traveled through the world more and more, she realized her name meant more than just the pawprints she left in the dirt - some said it was the name of descendants of royalty. Prints was young when this realization was first brought to her, and it has stuck with her for the rest of her life thus far. But with her newfound realization came a newfound arrogance she held over other cat's heads, her attitude chasing away most of the friends she would have considered herself to have. It was never something she cared about, at least not when she was younger, since she considered herself above them all anyhow. What did royalty need close friends for? After all, she had her own knight.
Someone that she had taken for granted for far too long.
His name was Crumpet, and the pair of them had been friends for as long as Prints could remember. Crumpet was always there for her. Crumpet was her protector, her literal knight in shining armor, and the one she could tell everything to. They had spent nearly their entire lives together, the pair of them - through hardships, through happiness, through heartbreak... through everything imaginable. But one cat could only withstand arrogance like Prints had for so long, and it was the argument that she had with Crumpet that finally knocked some sense into her righteous mind.
___________________________________________________________________
"Hey, I think we need to talk about something. About... well, I guess how wrong the way you're treating others is." Prints very nearly rolled her eyes at Crumpet's statement. There wasn't anyone around that they had talked to in recent times, so she scoffed at the topic of discussion. She was treating others how a member of a royal family would treat them. At least, how she had been told and how she thought a royal cat should treat those she saw as inferior.
Prints stretched, absently turning towards her friend to hear what he had to say. Her gaze was still directed out into the territory, her body language telling of her disinterest. "I don't think I've done anything wrong. I am Prints, and I deserve respect."
But as she heard Crumpet talk - about the things she had said recently to others they had met, how she expected them to treat her with respect but never showed an ounce towards anyone else, how she had quite literally told one of the cats they met to fetch her prey because she felt she didn't have to.... Prints slowly saw a reflection of herself she never wanted to see. She didn't deserve respect at all.
She was appalling. She was terrible. She was someone she never expected to be.
A long silence stretched between the two cats after Crumpet had laid out all the different things she had said. A cold silence, one of self-reflection and hard truths. How it was wrong of her to act the way that she had. It wasn't an easy conversation to have, and it wasn't something that she wanted to hear, but it was necessary for Prints to realize what her arrogance had done for her relationships with others.
She couldn't bring herself to say anything to Crumpet. What could she say? It was he who said he needed to go for a walk, to be alone. To give her time to think. While Crumpet gave her a nudge before walking away, Prints couldn't help but think she would never deserve him. If he walked away forever, she couldn't blame him... and her mind expected the worst as night fell with no sign of her knight. Give him a few days at least, Prints told herself. Everyone gets lost sometimes, don't they? After all, hadn't she lost sight of herself for a while? Maybe a day without him was what she needed to kickstart her attitude into something a little more pleasant for those around her...
Prints started her journey of forgiveness and apologies early the next morning, finding the cats they had most recently interacted with. She left her cape on a nearby tree, leaving it behind for a reason, not wanting it taint her view of herself anymore. Instead, she wanted it to becomes a symbol of Crumpet, of her friendship with him. Somehow, she couldn't help but feel it was the cape that would lead the two together again, and the reunion happened much faster than Prints had ever anticipated. Crumpet found her that day, never meaning to be apart from her for that long.
When the pair reunited, Prints' heart soared higher than she thought ever possible. She would never let anything come between them.
_____________________________________________________________________________
After that day, Prints made a vow to herself and to her best friend. She would never take him for granted again. She would never let herself forget that she was not the only cat with feelings. Perhaps her arrogance had one good result - the bond between Prints and Crumpet was able to grow even more, and they learned to be honest with each other about everything.
She vowed that Prints would refer to her journey through life, a homage to all the cats she had met and the places she had been. She was not royalty, not in the true sense of the word like she might have once thought. No, she was only royal because of the friendships and connections she had made along her journey of life. Prints was only Prints because of the cats she had grown to love, and it was thanks to Crumpet that she was able to come to that realization.
Everyone needs their own knight. Prints considered herself incredibly lucky that she had already found her own knight; a true friend like Crumpet.
