©Posts will hopefully be uploaded in order I want to win them, but I have a list here that will be in order with the ones at the top being the ones I'd most like to win!
(Yes, yes it does have every zodiac listed. I'm goingto be filling them out down the list in this order; when the event closes I'll edit the post to get rid of all the ones that I didn't enter for in time. There is also a chance I won't do them in this exact order; anything past Rabbit is due to change in terms of where on the list I put them, mostly because I might feel more drawn to a certain one based on how I end up writing them from the prompt. In that case, I will try to fix the order I posted them in, but if I don't then the list will be changed to reflect it)
Pisces (my Western zodiac)
Capricorn (my sister's Western zodiac)

prompt wrote:These cats are very compassionate and overly-trusting. They hate when their past comes back to haunt
them. Write about their past life that they ran away from before they came to your clan.
It’s bright out, is the first thing Dragon thinks when she wakes up. She takes a moment to simply continue
laying where she is, feeling the tingles of her limbs that she jokingly likes to say is her soul finding its way
back into her body after a full night of dreaming.
Finally she feels a yawn coming on, and opens her jaws wide, enjoying the small cracking noise that it
gives. She pushes herself to sit up, and frowns around the little den. Koi is nowhere to be found, which is
a bit odd. Normally he wakes her up before he leaves; did he maybe do that and she was simply too asleep
to remember it?
That must be it, she decides, and gets to work with her morning stretches before she eventually slips out
into the sunlight, squinting against the morning sun as she does. A quick scan of the area shows that Koi is
nowhere to be found, and she pouts. That isn’t exactly unexpected, but it’s still a bit disappointing. Koi
loves to explore whenever he can, but Dragon was hoping she’d be able to say good morning at the least
before he took off.
Sighing softly, Dragon heads down to the little stream near the den they’re currently staying in, stepping
into it and smiling at the comforting feeling of the water lapping over her paws. She’s always loved the
water, and today is certainly not an exception.
It feels like it’s been hours when Koi finally emerges from the tree line. He shouts an excited greeting,
and Dragon slips out of the stream without a second thought to meet her brother half way through the
little flower filled field, butting their heads together with a pleased purr.
”You didn’t wake me up.” Dragon whines once she’s satisfied that he’s freshly covered in her scent,
and he laughs loudly, flashing his teeth at her in a wide grin.
”Sorry, Dragon, but look!” Koi steps aside, and for the first time Dragon finally notices the other cat
with her brother. ”I found a friend!”
Dragon eyes the stranger curiously, her one non-floppy ear perked up as she takes in the way he carries
himself like he’s ready for a fight and the way his fur is littered with age-old scars. Her ear flicks, and
then she glances back to Koi with her head cocked to the side.
”Is this why you left so early?” She asks, and Koi nods furiously. He turns and prances back over to
the stranger, his tail wagging not unlike a dog’s, the little green tufts of fur at the end gaining a yellow
tinge from all the pollen.
”This is Ophiuchus! I heard him sniffing around outside this morning, and he ran off when I saw him,
but I chased after him! We’re friends now!” Koi is practically beaming as he speaks, and Dragon
doesn’t even think twice before she’s beaming right back.
She turns her attention back on the stranger - Ophiuchus - and completely ignores the way he flinches
and stiffens even more at the attention.
”It’s nice to meet you! I’m Dragon!” She introduces herself, and giggles at the awkward nod he gives
her. She glances back at Koi, and giggles even more when she sees her brother is also giving silent snickers.
The large black tom stares down at her, and Dragon continues to grin up at him unflinchingly. The two of
them have encountered many grumpy cats in the few moons they’ve been travelling, and she’s long past
being nervous about meeting such mean looking strangers.
The rest of the day is fairly boring, with Dragon and Koi spending most of it swimming while Ophiuchus
awkwardly sits around at the edge of the stream and watches them with a guarded expression.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
It’s late in the night when a sound forces Dragon’s soul back into her body. She just barely bites back a
yelp at the weird feelings in her limbs, before she realizes that there's something wrong. She lifts her head
off the ground, and looks around the dark den. Ophiucus and Koi are nowhere to be found.
Frowning, Dragon gets up and heads to the mouth of the den, ignoring the way her muscles throb in
annoyance at the lack of a stretch first. She stares into the night, frowning as she looks around the field
and realizes she still can’t see either of them.
After a few seconds, Dragon slowly turns her head up, aiming her frown to where she thought the moon
would be. There’s nothing there, and it scares her. Maybe she’s still dreaming? She does that sometimes,
has dreams inside of dreams, but something about this makes her feel certain that she isn’t dreaming
anymore.
Suddenly there’s a shout to the left, and Dragon takes off towards it without a second thought. Her paws
trample the little flowers in the field, but she pays them no mind, her thoughts filling with worst case
scenarios. She imagines scenes of Koi broken and bleeding, or Ophiuchus caught in one of the strange
twoleg traps that killed their mama. Each thought fills her with more and more dread, and before she
knows it she stumbles into another clearing, freezing at the sight before her.
Koi is holding himself funny, one of his back legs awkwardly tucked up to his belly as he stands across the
clearing from Ohpiuchus, betrayal clearly written on every part of her brother’s face. Dragon rushes to his
side before she even realizes what she’s doing, her back arched as she stares down the larger tom, hissing
as loud as she can.
Ophiuchus’ lip twitches into a silent snarl, and his dark eyes flicker between the two of them. He takes a
step forward, and suddenly Koi lunges at him, swiping awkwardly with the front paw opposite of his
injured back leg to try and not tip himself over in the process. The larger tom is quick to take a step back
again, and now Dragon can hear him growling.
Dragon pulls forward to stand by her brother, her non-floppy ear flattening as she growls right back, and
Ophiuchus’ growls falter for a moment.
They stand there for a few moments, the only sounds in the clearing that of Dragon and Koi’s growling,
and then Ophiuchus spits at them, and takes off.
He stops at the edge of the clearing, his head raised and his eyes narrowed. ”I’ll be back, you strange
little freaks. I’ll be back, and my friends won’t be as easy to scare off.” His words are clearly meant
to be a threat, and they definitely take it as one.
Once he’s gone far enough that they can no longer hear him, Dragon turns to Koi with tears brimming in
her eyes. Neither of them say anything, but they turn in the opposite direction and start walking. They
can’t go back to the nice little den, can’t return to the soft field of flowers or the perfect little stream.
No, they’re stuck back on the road again because they were too nice to the wrong person again.
Mama had warned them, warned them about evil cats in the world that would take advantage of how nice
they were. They never truly understood what she meant until after she passed, and how all the strange
cats they’ve run into on their travels so far have always been so mean. They make fun of their tails, and
their strange little scales. They try to attack them, their claws usually aiming to try and rip the little
green and violet things right off of their fur.
Dragon had hoped Ophiuchus had been different, and she knows Koi hoped the same. After all, he
wouldn’t’ve brought him back to where they were living if he didn’t. She sighs heavily, and shifts to let Koi
lean against her as he limps along. Hopefully they’ll find some nice cats sooner rather than later; after all,
Dragon doesn't know how to fix her brother. She turns her head to the stars, and silently prays for her
mama to lead their paws to cats that will be able to help.

WARNING
panic attack
internalized transphobiaprompt wrote:This cat is independent, cold and unforgiving. They are immersed in their secrecy and use it as a defense
mechanism. They are brave enough to never run away but constantly afraid of their inner demons. Write about
the time where they had to accept someone's help to fight their own inner demons.
Goatfloat struggles to take a breath into his lungs, and it feels as if he’s drowning in the panic. His
arm fins and tail are useless for this type of drowning, and said tail lashes around on the ground
faster the more frantic he becomes. His claws scratch at the ground, making little trenches from how
long this has been going on.
The voices in his head whisper about how he's false, how he's lying to the new Clan he's in. Hissing in
his mind about how they'll cast him out and refuse to accept him if he tells them the truth.
There’s suddenly the crunching of leaves from behind, and Goatfloat is terrified to realize he can't
even bring himself to turn and see who it is, let all tell them to mind their own business.
They don't say anything as they approach, and Goatfloat decides to ignore them and focus on trying to
get his breathing back under control. It’s hard, and he feels a tear track a sad pattern down his cheek
as he gasps for breaths.
He's used to panic attacks, but they've never hit this hard before.
Suddenly the paws of the stranger are in front of his face, and Goatfloat struggles to assign a name to
the chocolate and white paws in front of him.
Then they're dropping to the ground in front of him, and bright amber eyes fill his vision.
Goatfloat startles at it, his breathing becoming more panicked. Mothpetal's - yes, that was her name -
eyes widen, and she reaches out with her one white paw to gently place it on one of Goatfloat's own.
"Hey, hey, it's okay. Come on, breathe slowly, you got this." Comes Mothpetal’s soothing voice, and
Goatfloat attempts to do as she says. It isn't working, and when Mothpetal stands back up it gets even
worse. That panic is all for nothing, however, as Mothpetal simply walks around to press close against
his side, her own chest rising and falling steadily next to him.
He closes his own yellow eyes, and takes a few minutes to simply focus on the way the longhaired
molly breathes, to try and sync his own breathing up with hers.
It takes a while, but eventually his own breathing is calm enough for him to feel comfortable to look
back at her, frowning slightly. The soft look on the molly's face never falters, and he sighs softly.
"I'm sorry, I hope I wasn’t a bother to you. I-" He softly begins to apologize, and is cut off by
Mothpetal scoffing. He looks at the other warrior with indignance painted across his face, and when
she begins to laugh he scowls.
"It's fine, Goatfloat. You're not a bother. In fact; I used to have the same kind of attacks." She
continues to smile the whole time she speaks, and Goatfloat’s scowl fades into a confused frown.
What is she talking about?
"What are you talking about?" He asks for good measure, not understanding why this stranger is
being so nice to him like this. He hasn't been in IslandClan for very long, and he’s only spoken to her
once.
Mothpetal’s smile turns a bit melancholy, and she scuffs a paw on the ground. "Well, I'm sure you've
noticed, but I wasn't born a molly." She stops, and doesn’t carry on until Goatfloat nods,
acknowledging that he has noticed this fact; it makes her smile a bit softer. "Well, when I was a new
warrior, I realized I was actually a molly. I didn't come out for a while, and whenever someone would
call me a tom, or he, I'd end up panicking about it."
Goatfloat nods along as she speaks, hanging on to her every word. He's not sure if she knows, but he
has a sneaking suspicion that she is fully aware of why he ran out of the camp today. Since he's joined
he’d been feeling like a molly, but waking up today his first thought was 'ah, I'm a tom today'. He
hadn't known how to bring it up to anyone in the Clan, and when a few cats had started talking to
him with female pronouns, it had made him freak out so bad he had to escape to,,,, wherever he is
right now.
He doesn't say any of this, but he can see the understanding bloom in Mothpetal's eyes. She smiles at
him, and shuffles her body forward just enough to give him a gentle lick between his little horns.
"Come on, Goatfloat. It'll be fine; we'll tell Ladybird, and he'll beat up anyone who dares try
to misgender you."
So he follows her back into camp, and for the first time in his life, he feels like he can truly be
himself.
And for once, the hissing voices at the back of his mind are silent.
