What kind of sense of humor do they have?Odele really doesn't have a sense of humor that's discernible, she's too focused on everything else to take a step back and laugh, but sometimes little unexpected or sudden things that happen give her a smile, like a bird doing something silly, or someone saying something most find amusing out of the blue.
Any hidden or obvious talents?She is a good dancer, though it's something she only does while she's completely on her own, usually late at night as the sun sets, so she doesn't personally believe she's talented with it, or have anyone else to tell her otherwise. She also has a natural knack for leading, and tending to plants, which she silently disagrees with whenever it's mentioned, because she doesn't enjoy her advisor or other servants pressing her to believe it, and it has just become to tiring for her over the years.
Where is their favorite place to be?Places where she often spent time with her mother. She goes to them when she needs her again.
Favorite color?A pink tinted purple, the color of her mother's dress.
Favorite drink?A mildly flavored berry tea with a small lily pad floating on top.

What is their quote/motto?To treat all others with kindness, and to rule with both the heart and the mind. To love all of her people, and to protect them above else. Their safety is in her paws, and she must honor that. Her mother would always tell her that, and stress that it is her duty to uphold it, so she has, without question.
Someone they look up to?Her mother. They were so very close, and she has always looked up to her above everyone else.
Can you name 3 bad traits about them?Too hard on herself, selfless to the point it's detrimental to herself, and she keeps everything inside because she feels she needs to solve everything herself.

How do you consider their fashion?Simple, but elegant, like her mother.
Are they independent or a team player?Odele is a bit of both, she's an introvert, and very independent, but she also works well in a team, and understands that to rule she needs to be able to work with many different souls of all different walks of life.

Do they own a pet? What is it?She has never owned a pet; the creatures that come to their castle are considered free in her eyes, and even if she had pets, she would not consider them as such.
If they were to own a pet, what would it be?If she had to choose, it would be a bird. A pretty white bird.
Do they dye their hair? What is their original hair color?She'd never dye her hair; it's the color of her mother's, a soft minty green, lighter at the top, an fading to darker and more vibrant toward the ends of the strands.
Could you describe how their room would look like?Very simple and plain to the eye of most, but filled with little elegant touches of her, as well as things from her mother, and many,
many plants. Her room is made of white stone, as is the rest of their castle, with a pile of pillows in a corner for her to sleep, surrounded by white candles of all different shapes and sizes that burn green flames, with a hanging over the pillows, making it like a small little cave. The room is larger than she'd like, and mostly empty where it is not filled with plants, or a book shelf, wardrobe, and small desk. Vines creep up the ancient but well kept stone, and others creep in through the glass-less windows.
Do they prefer light colors or dark colors?Lighter colors, and dim or very bright lights that still keep them muted and soft.
Bad habits?Pushing herself too hard, being much too hard on herself, holding in guilt that is not her own for things she did not do and that are not her fault, not letting others know how she truly feels when she keeps it all in and does not allow herself to forget and forgive herself, and all the things she didn't do. Also, never giving herself a break when she needs it.
What kind of sleeper are they? What position do they sleep in?She's a very light sleeper, and sleeps curled up in a pile of pillows, occasionally with a thin, almost see-through blanket that matches the colors of her fur. I would say often at her desk with parchment stuck to the side of her face when she wakes up, but she recognizes she needs to stop when she's tired, and does not push herself further that way.
What is something they care about the most?Her kingdom, her people, her advisor, and her brother, even if they do not get along very well and rarely see eye-to-eye.
Most valuable possession?The memories she has of her mother.
Do they wear jewelry?When a formal occasion calls for it, otherwise it gets to caught up in her hair or flowers, and begins to pull painfully after awhile.
Do they have piercings? Want any?She has no piercings and no wish to get any; they either look too roguish and improper to her, or remind her too much of the silver earrings that her mother used to wear.
Are they rebellious or do they play by the rules?Odele is nothing if not someone who plays by the rules, even if sometimes they should be bent or broken.
Where are they originally from?The kingdom she lives in, and the castle in the sky where her family resides; Amara.
Is their voice deep? Neutral? High pitched?Her voice is gentle, and soft, almost sing-song, like a songbird or a bell, and verging on the side of deep.
If any, what allergies do they have?She's allergic to failureAre they outgoing or quiet?Odele is a quiet soul.
Favorite time of year? Why?Winter, she enjoys the refreshing dip in coolness, and seeing the delicate fractals of snow falling to sea where their kingdom lays below, even if it melts before it ever touches a wave.
Favorite smell?Crisply fresh air in the morning.
Are they flexible?Physically and with decisions, yes, mentally and emotionally regarding herself, less so. She doesn't tend to give herself much room to be flexible.
Any tattoos? Want tattoos?Same as piercings, just without the connections to her mother that pull at the strings of her heart.
Favorite form of travel?Walking; she wants to feel everything beneath her paws, and against her fur and skin. It helps to clear and refresh her mind, and with living on a cloud, there isn't much more of a form of transportation she could choose to use than walking herself, or being carried, which she'd personally find humiliating now that she's no longer a small kit.
Do they like plants? What plant do they like the most?Odele adores plants, they're a part of her heart and soul, and the ones upon her back and shoulders are the ones she loves most. They grow from her, and she cares for them, and they bring her comfort and peace when she needs a friend, but only has herself to see it because she refuses to let anyone else near.
What do they find annoying?It takes a lot to trigger any sort of form of annoyance to sprout within her, but she often finds herself to be annoyed and irritated with herself, and her failure to meet the high standards she has set for herself.
What are they most terrible at?Opening up, and singing, she sounds a bit like a dying gull.

Do others like you? Do you want others to like you?Odele is well liked by all her people, and she wants for them to love her, even though she does not feel as if she is deserving of it just yet. Her mother left her with a shadow to fill, and though she has filled it and grown her own, she cannot yet see it, and will find it hard to accept the love of her people until she can.
What do you think others like or admire about you?I don't believe she thinks anyone admires anything about her,
yet; but if she did, it would likely be how well she sets aside everything else, her own personal judgments and thoughts and feelings, for the good of the kingdom and her people. She would sacrifice anything for them, like her mother would have, and many admire that about her.
How do you know when you’re in love? (romantic or platonic)"When they enter your mind before you go to sleep, and when thoughts of them find you, even when you do not wish them to. When you miss them, even if you saw them only moments ago. At least, that is what Mother always told me, whenever I asked."Would you or have you ever killed? What would drive you to kill?Odele has never, and would never kill someone, and there is absolutely nothing that could drive her to take the life from another. She knows the pain of a life being taken, and she refuses to bring that upon anyone else.
Do you think that killing is ever justified?Sometimes. She is one who preaches for life, but at times, she understand that death can be the only answer, and that the needs of the many outweigh the few. It will crush her, and fill her with guilt, but she knows that sometimes killing is justified.
Have you ever done anything that you feel to be very morally wrong?She stole some bread to give to some birds from the kitchen when she was very small, once. She felt it was the right thing to do, for the birds, but she knows that it was not right to have taken without asking first, and sneak around with it so she would not be found out, until her mother found the crumbs in her hair, and she confessed, breaking down in tears. When she was younger, responsibility was also something and a duty that often escaped her, which she still hates herself for.
Should all people be treated as equal, and have the same rights?Yes. Odele believes that everyone should be treated as equal, with the very same rights. Gods should not be held to a higher standard because they are gods, or seen as above mortals; if anything, gods reap more pain and suffering than mortal beings ever could. They should be held to the same rules as the rest, and the same goes for rulers. A king cannot break his own laws simply because he is king.
If you committed a crime, would you accept punishment willingly?She would, and likely, she would turn herself in.
Is it right to have an intimate relationship with somebody you don’t love?It depends on the situation, for her. In her eyes it is not right for someone to lead another on, and make the other who loves them think there is love between them when there is not, but if it is for an alliance, or safety, or for some other reason agreed upon by both parties, she sees no harm in it, especially if they are allowed to seek love elsewhere.
What could make you break your own moral code?The only thing that could cause her to break the moral code she lives by, is the safety of her kingdom, or her brother.
Have you ever doubted your own beliefs? (Spiritual, philosophical)She often doubts them, and herself.
Would you always be loyal to your loved ones even if they wronged you?Yes, she would. She would push that hurt and feeling of betrayal aside for the sake of everyone else. She is in a position where she feels as if she cannot afford to keep such feelings; the safety and happiness of the kingdom they watch over as gods is more important than her hurt at being wronged.
What would you consider a fate worse than death?An eternity trapped alone, with no other soul in which to find comfort or solace within, or a curse. A curse has already broken her heart in two, along with her dear brother's, and she would wish it upon no one else.

PERSECUTION - What is muse’s anger like? Like sadness, like sorrow. It begins calm at first, nearly there, until it breaks, and everything comes crashing down, and it all just turns to pain and hurt, because her anger is always rooted in that.
RETRIBUTION - Who/What can calm down the muse once they’ve lost their mind?Her mother could, but now she is gone, so she is stuck trying to calm herself all on her own.
LUDICROUS - Is the muse different at night than in the day? Why?Not really, though perhaps a bit more drained, and slightly less perfectly composed as she is when light signals it's day.
EVALUATION - What is one thing that makes it or breaks it with the muse when they meet new people?There isn't much that can break it for her, as she prioritizes the sake over her kingdom over any personal feeling, but if there had to be something, it would be sloppiness or someone acting like a slob.
GONERS - How good is muse with socializing with others? Communicating with them?She doesn't have a choice to not be good at communicating with others, at least that is how she sees it. It drains her, and takes so much out of her and wears her out, but she has learned to become great at speaking with others; at catching little things, and leading a conversation, and getting others to admit things they not normally would.

hurts. It brings and ache to her heart, where there should be a fondness of a treasured memory, because her mother isn't there to enjoy it with her.
What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child?To realize that her actions had consequences, and that she could not just do whatever she wished. She was a goddess, she could not put herself first.
What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?"I'm fine." Through sad eyes, and a smile that was unable to breach their sorrow. It doesn't haunt her, because she has to appear as if it were true.

How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?She finds something to scratch it with, probably some kind of stick, or maybe a fork.

How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?It is rehearsed, big time rehearsed.

What embarrasses them?It would have to be something outrageously embarrassing to embarrass her.

If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?Romantic is something she's not yet able to explain, as she is too young to have felt it, but familial love is always there, from the very first moment, it's just built into a part of who one is, and platonic is a feeling of missing an old friend. From what her mother told her, romantic is something that comes unexpectedly, and is so vastly, beautifully, drastically different from any sort of platonic or familial love.
Why do they get up in the morning? Because she needs, and wants to make her mother proud.
How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)?jealousy makes her grow even harder on herself, and more sorrowful deep down.
How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)? Envy isn't really an emotion she feels.
What are their thoughts on marriage?That it should just be for love, but the world is not at such a place yet where it can be that.
What causes them to feel dread? An inexplicable gut feeling that something horrible is about to come.
Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth? There is no circumstance where she would ever prefer a lie over the truth.
Do they usually live up to their own ideals?She does, but she doesn't feel like she does. She holds herself at too high a standard to see it.
Who do they most regret meeting?I don't think there's anyone she regrets having met; they've all taught her something valuable.
Who are they the most glad to have met?Her mother, her father, her advisor, and her brother.
Do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke?Nope, she just talks about what is needed to be talked about, so she can finish the conversation and get to everything else she has to do.

How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt?Nearly impossible, guilt is something that comes too easily to help.
How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive? She is excited, and supportive, no matter what she is feeling or going through at the time.
Do they have a system for remembering names, long lists of numbers, things that need to go in a certain order (like anagrams, putting things to melodies, etc)?She pushes herself so hard to remember and get everything perfect (constantly running over things, double checking, triple checking, quadruple checking, etc.) I don't think she knows how to forget.
What memory do they revisit the most often?Her last few moments with her mother, and the times where they would sit at an edge of their floating land and watch the sunset side by side. Those memories are the most precious to her, as well as that of her father's face. He wasn't as nearly as present in her life as her mother was, but she loved hm dearly nonetheless.
How easy is it for them to ignore flaws in other people?Very easy, no one else is held to the standard she holds herself to, and she tries to work around the flaws of others, and put them in areas of their strengths, while helping their flaws and weaknesses to grow less as they move and work past them.
How sensitive are they to their own flaws?All too sensitive, they crush her.
How do they feel about children?She doesn't mind children, but never wants any of her own. She finds them to be precious, a miracle, and she wants to do all she can to protect all the children within the ocean kingdom, and make sure none of them know the pain of what it is to lose a beloved parent.
How badly do they want to reach their end goal? More than anything, because it's for her people.
QUESTIONS FOR CREATORSWhy are you excited about this character?Working with neon has been absolutely wonderful and I instantly felt a connection to this darling, and I'm so so happy we got to create the characters and this form even if we don't win. I have a few characters like her, who work themselves to hard and don't care for themselves and hold themselves to impossibly high standards, but I've never written one quite like her, who does what she does in the end, who
would do what she does in the end, so it's a fun challenge I've been looking forward to as well. It's also always incredible to see a concept come to life ahhh
What inspired you to create them?My love and connection to the design, and my love for making god and goddess characters and ocean kingdoms and chaos and breaking my characters like geodes, as well as neon's wonderful ideas <3
Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?Considering we built the story and world around them, not really ahhh
Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?This kal child is beautiful and I would never chance a thing
Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?Maybe?? I feel like we'd get along but probably not be anything more than minor acquaintances; we're both way too focused on holding ourselves to standards we deep down know we can't reach yet.
What do you feel when you think of your OC (pride, excitement, frustration, etc)?excitement boiiiii, I've been excited to get working on this for ages and I've loved all the development we've done and the ideas we've made, even if we don't win.
What trait of theirs bothers you the most?The fact she's an INFJ, like me and my girl Ana. I didn't at all expect her to be one, I thought she would more likely get defender, and while there's nothing wrong with it and I truly love that she is since it fits her perfectly, it's a bit discouraging to attempt to create a character unique and different from all your others, only for them to land in the same spot as all your rest do. All of my characters seem to be in the diplomat roles and I'm really trying to break out of that, even though they're all very different and still some how end up being introverts that feel and are intuitive and judging.
What trait do you admire most?Her ability to shove feelings aside, I wish I could do that. I know it's at a detriment to her but I feel too much and have both anxiety and social anxiety and am very likely an empath and it would be nice to kind of turn off feelings for a bit outside of the chances I get when I fall asleep and have some really funky weird dreams.

Are they trying to overcome it?Being too hard on herself, not letting herself make a single mistake, holding herself to standards she can never meet. She's aware of it in a way, but doesn't know how else to be.

Do they lie about why they’re late?She would let them know why if she was able, and tell the truth as to why, though she makes a strong effort to be very punctual, so it's rare any late apology or warning would be needed.
