The actor and the singer {Kalon Tryout}

I Am Who I Am;

If you're not shining the brightest, what's the point? Zelos doesn't know why others would bother being on stage if you're not the lead role. He's willing to fight anyone and everyone to show that he's the best in any room, at any time, and has the smug smirk to show for it. His self-confidence is through the roof, but if you ask him he'll tell you that it's well-deserved, after all, he's smart, good-looking, everything someone would be praised for - perhaps even worshiped! Of course, this leads to him being wildly envious of anyone he thinks is approaching his level or somehow surpassed him in any talent or way. When this happens, Zelos is likely to show off his short fuse and let loose a tantrum the likes of which some have never seen.

Zelos is very theatrical and dramatic in his mannerisms, doesn't mind raising his voice and loves to be in front of a crowd. That being said, he hates being alone or in quiet places - and is, suitably, both claustrophobic and afraid of the dark. He learned to play guitar at a very young age, probably to gain more attention for his talents. He spends a lot of time writing songs, which, of course, he sings himself, since there's no one better suited to his ideas than his own self!

He's also an amateur artist, although to ask him, he'll be among the greats soon enough and everyone will know his name. The only thing that Zelos is interested in from all of this is fame, obviously. The effort is only worth it if everyone remembers him long after he's gone. He'll jump on any train to catch some quick attention and brand himself into a few more peoples' minds, leaving behind a trail of half-friends and broken hearts. Others' feelings are of no matter to him, which ties into his sexuality - he claims that it has less to do with not feeling that way and more to do with the fact that he could never be attracted to someone less wonderful than he is, and there's simply no one else like that.

Other people not liking him is no sweat off of his back! If they choose not to be around him, Zelos says that they're the ones missing out. He claims anyone who treats him badly is 'jealous' - this even extends to teachers who call him out for misbehaving (mostly chatting in class). He doesn't do well with authority figures, which is no one's surprise, really.

When She’s Around;

If you asked Zelos if he loved his younger sister, his answer would be a resounding, “Of course! Who doesn’t love their siblings?!” quickly followed by a rather long rant on how she always tries to copy him and annoy him and aren’t younger siblings the absolute worst? She even dared to become a singer to try and take the stage from him, can you believe that? Sure, he performed with her once or twice, but that was only to shove into the face of the other competitors that even when he was being dragged down by his sister he could still run them through the mud and back like they were nothing.

While he does tolerate her, Zelos gets easily annoyed with his sister, just as he would with anyone else. She always wants to pester him or tell him something, and he simply doesn’t have time in his life for that kinda thing.

Not to mention the pictures. Oh, the pictures. She’s always snapping selfies and photos trying to make him look silly with bunny ears and weird expressions like she thinks it’s the most hilarious thing. Which of course leads to an argument as he tries to snatch her cellphone from her paws so he can delete the evidence before the rest of the world even knows it exists. No one can be allowed to see something like that, after all. He’d never live it down.

He’s the older of the two, and therefore, the best. After all, don’t you know older siblings are smarter and healthier just as a rule? So of course he would be (even if it’s not by much) the oldest child!

Deep down he does love his little sister - and god forbid someone else tries to treat her like he does sometimes, they’ll feel the wrath that only someone like Zelos can rain down. Of course, he just wants her to remember her spot as his little sister and therefore number two. The stage will always be his first and foremost.

Sometimes he teases her about being a bit socially anxious, and points out that she’ll never be the perfect social butterfly she wants to be. Someone like him, charming and lovely and always with smooth, perfected words ready to contend with anyone who might be waiting in any given room. It’s rather cruel, but if you ask him he’s just helping her toughen up - better it come from him than some random bully out there, after all. And it’s only the truth, anyways.

Whenever something happens and he has to help out, Zelos makes sure to remind her how lucky she is that she has such a good big brother. Leaving a good impression at the school, helping her with a show or homework, just in general. Everyone will always remember her as “Zelos’ sister”, after all, and that’s because of him!

Random Facts;

~ Zelos learned to play guitar when he was a very young child after seeing someone else playing and thinking it was cool, but has always wanted to play more and has dabbled with a few other instruments as well!

~ He has a photographic memory, therefore he remembers everything he sees vividly. This comes very in handy in school and with his grades staying up!

~ Zelos isn’t a huge fluffy pet person, he’d prefer a fish or some type of reptile.

~ He absolutely hates vegetables and will do just about anything to get out of eating them. However, he loves most fruits and often even prefers them to sweets or other types of food.

Sexuality; She’s honestly not sure. She always thought she was straight but there’s this one girl that she kinda likes. She almost refuses to accept that she might be gay and thus hasn’t told anyone, especially not her brother.

Social butterfly doesn’t even come close to describing it. She is always hanging out with someone and is very proud of her social charm. If you ask her why she’s always wearing those sunglasses, she’ll probably reply with “Because you’re shining too bright for me to see without them!” and then light heartedly finger-gun and wrap it up with a “Hey-o!” or “Eyyy!” You’d assume that someone with that amount of popularity would be your average “Oh my god, Starbucks!” kind of girl, and she is to some extent, but she’s most often described as a walking meme. She has the tendency to quote vines or memes mid-sentence and it’s become an important element of her vocabulary.

She is energetic, confident, and sassy. She has a vibrant personality and will always be true to herself. Her philosophy is if someone doesn’t approve of her personality then they are either jealous or are not worth her time. She becomes bored to death if she isn’t talking to someone in one way or another which can make people think she’s annoying or clingy but there’s nothing she can really do about it.
She uses social media very often and tries her best to be “the perfect internet idol” by posting inspirational messages, jokes, nice photos, just about anything positive. Group selfies are one of her favorite things.

She’s the type of person who has no idea how to handle negative emotions so she has a tendency to ignore them or force them away before making any attempt to understand them. She’s not particularly smart but her grades are decent. She’d never tell him, but Zelos is a big inspiration and help in keeping her grades up, even if he is a bit rude about it. She’s a pretty bad actor and will often over-emphasize to the point where it looks ridiculous, but she is a very talented singer. She’s a bit sheepish about it and will usually sing in a clear “I’m singing terrible on purpose and because this is a fun, cheesy radio song” voice. Music is another of her favorite things. Although she is terrible at handling unfamiliar emotions, songs can help.

When She’s With Zelos;
First of all, she calls him Zel because she thinks it’s a nice nickname and it clearly bothers him. Annoying her brother is like a sport to her and, as “Zel” will tell her, she never ceases to find a way to do so. A classic brother-sister relationship.
She will sometimes take surprise selfies with him just to catch his confused facial reactions but is careful not to do it so often that he’ll be able to predict it, that would be no fun. The bunny ears are a favorite of hers. As much as she loves taking these photos, she never posts them anywhere, partially because she sees them as something that is just her own and partially because she knows how much it would bother Zelos.

She’d only tell her brother that she loves him if one of the two were dying. If anyone else asks, she’ll probably say “Of course, but don’t tell him, his ego is inflated enough without knowing it!” She doesn’t mind if anyone teases him as long as it’s light hearted but you’d better be careful if you mean what you say. She once knew a kid that was constantly mocking Zel behind his back and, despite being far from a manipulative person, she managed to pull enough social strings to leave him completely friendless in a matter of weeks. He never even knew what had happened.
She’s more than happy to let Zelos be the star on the stage but has to show him that she can sing just as well as he can every once in a while. She usually goes to his performances and sometimes reschedules other things to make sure she can.

She may not be any good at coming up with lyrics but is always able to help if Zelos is willing to admit that he’s not sure what tune the singing should be. He’ll be playing his guitar or piano or some other instrument while she holds a lyric sheet and sings in harmony. They make a good team but rarely work together. They know each other like they know the backs of their hands and can communicate with as little as a glance.

She loves nothing more than being able to make Zelos laugh at something she finds funny or being able to have an engaging conversation with him when they talk as equals. As friends.

Random Facts;
-Sang a duet with Zelos once or twice just so they could show up some mutual enemy.
-She has made it her mission to give Zelos bunny ears in any photo she can.
-Always has those shades with her, whether she’s wearing them or not.
-She is 100% the type of person to go up to anyone she sees who has a pet and ask if she can pat it. Any animal unless it’s an insect.
-It drives her nuts when she can’t figure someone out. She’s met a few people who somehow just don’t show any emotion and don’t really respond when she uses different types of humor to see what they like and she can’t stand that. She may spend a good deal of time and energy just to understand one person.
