He takes a deep breath. Heavy. Everything feels heavy. The marker in his hand is a weight on his soul. He will not do this. But he will! But he won't. "I need to finish this!" he says, sighing heavily, once again, everything is heavy. "I can do this!" he says aloud once more. His fingers fly to work, eyes darting around the page with gusto, only pausing to take a hearty gulp of his water, choking on it slightly, but paying very little mind to this.

-several hours later, after many snacks and much procrastination-

"AHA!" he shouts, finally laying aside the markers, looking at his paws, drenched in ink from rubbing the paper, a bad habit developed through years of pencil drawings. He sighs, knowing it'll be a pain to clean up later, however, this is fine. He doesn't mind cleaning it up, not after the turnout of this latest drawing- a commission, a good one too. He smiles, looking at the picture, a mess of lines and scribbles with weird ideas throughout. His heart swells with pride. Time to rest.

:: Abrasive ::
(of a person or manner) showing little concern for the feelings of others; harsh.
Lyric cares about people; he really does. Like. A lot. But he doesn't quite show it. In fact he tends to keep it a secret in order to feel cool and "special" and not to seem weird. So he acts like he doesn't care at all, and simply behaves impertinently.

:: Kindly ::
kind; warmhearted; gentle.
Lyric, deep down, like most, is nice. He refuses to show it, but he is definitely a real sweetheart when he wants to be. However, he very often isn't. He likes to keep his kindness to himself to protect himself from others, and he shows very little trust due to this desire to keep himself safe. This often causes him to loose friends.

:: Rambunctious ::
uncontrollably exuberant; boisterous.
Lyric is very very rambunctious and wild, he bounces off the walls and makes messes 24/7. Most of his messes are 'art' to him so it is wise to let him clean them up in his own time. Like most children he'll burn himself out eventually, but unlike most children he it takes so so much more to burn him out.
:: Compulsive ::
resulting from or relating to an irresistible urge, especially one that is against one's conscious wishes.
As most children are, Lyric is... Compulsive. More compulsive than he should be. He often dies things without thinking, and must do them. No matter what. Nothing can stop him. He tends to get very much into things without a second though, his mind very easily latched on.

:: Intelligent ::
having or showing intelligence, especially of a high level.
Lyric is pretty smart. Not in the traditional way of course, but he is smart. he is however, only smart about things he cares about. He can tell you how to frame a page to perfectly appeal to the kalon eye, he can tell you how to spot the difference between two birds who look exactly the same, and he can teach you to make the best coffee known to man. He deeply cares about his interests but is... meh about everything else.

:: Irrational ::
not logical or reasonable.
Lyric does a lot of things without reason. Lots of things, including but not limited to pouring out his coffee onto the floor. When asked why, he simply shrugged and said "I don't know." and wandered off. He never really needs a reason to do things, even if they are weird. Especially if they are messy.

:: Jealous ::
feeling or showing envy of someone or their achievements and advantages.
Lyric is the jealous type. He constantly strives to be the very best and always feels like he falls short. This isn't true of course, he does well in what he tries to do well with. He looks up to others to an extreme degree and is fiercely jealous of them for their achievements.

:: Hardy ::
robust; capable of enduring difficult conditions.
Lyric is hardy! He often struggles in his life due to his disabilities and tries super hard to fit in, though he often falls short of fitting in. Despite this, he still tries his best, every day all the time he tries hard.

:: Perfectionist ::
a person who refuses to accept any standard short of perfection.
Lyric is very very very attentive to detail. He refuses to do a single thing unless he can get it perfect. Not necessarily on the first try of course, he will try again and again almost obsessively to get things right, to get things perfect. He tries a little too hard sometimes and easily burns himself out, but he refuses to give up on perfection, almost to a fault.

Lyric uses his scrapbook to document his life in all things. He documents his favorite birds, his experiences with mental illness, his artwork, his weird obsession with coffee... He loves to paste pictures into his scrapbook, as well as drawn them in. Here you can catch a glimpse of his book, and the things he puts into it!
