[I Like Bees]

Emberglow, though she won't ever speak of it, did in fact have a troubled past.

She grew up in a family large family, where no one truly cared about one another, and violence ran rampant. Emberglow, who was fond of peace from the very beginning, fought hard against the negative influences of those around her. Finally, after one of Emberglow's young cousins was killed in a brutal, unnecessary fight, the she-cat fled, never to return.

Emberglow spent moons of her life travelling, doing her best to put as much distance between herself and her 'family' as possible. Although she dreamed of one day finding an adoptive family of her own, she had accepted her fate as being to travel endlessly, forever.

She stayed with various groups during her travels, but never felt a enough of a connection with the other cats to officially join one.

PetalClan, of course, became the exception.

Clan News, originally named KelpClan News, was a weird, crazy collection of writing I did a few years back. Long story short, my class divided in half, I ended up in KelpClan, and one of my contributions to the 'war' was writing a newspaper.

The stories catified everyone, then either summarized the day's events in a weirdly funny way, interviewed someone, or explained some part of KelpClan's imaginary world. It was.. very disorganized, and honestly a mess.

The whole 'war' died off half way through the year, and KelpClan News was never heard from again. The documents are long gone; they're somewhere on an old school account I no longer have access to.

I don't remember much from the original KelpClan News, but I believe Fallowbreeze was one of the reporters, and Apple-something was either the hostess or another reporter. All of the reporters and cameracats were attacks by kittens, hence the kit-claw-proof armor this time. I remember a bouncy house, a soccer net, and I think I wrote about the catified P.E. teacher yelling at everyone to do more pushups? The studio was torn down and rebuilt multiple times, and the hostess always had a chair, even when the 'studio' became merely a clearing in the forest.

I've already said this, but it really was a mess. I still love the concept, though, and thought it would be an interested way to work on character development. Character development turned into an entry, and here we are.

And.. Yeah, that's about it. I just figured I should probably explain why I wrote the weirdness that is this entry.

Fun fact: The writing for the main entry (everything before the credits, not including the first post) is exactly 3000 words.
I didn't plan this.
