what he thinks. damned to a life of
criminality, dahlia wishes he was more.

nobody is quite sure where dahlia came from- including the cat himself. in the heart of winter, he
surfaced, memories sheet white with loss and whiskers tinged with frost. the roanokes were hesitant.
of course they would be- after all, dahlia was just a kit, a burden on the loose lives the criminals led,
but the cowboys would be damned before letting a kid die. unable to let their paws become stained
with the pale blood of innocence, dahlia was accepted as a member of the roanokes- forevermore.

dahlia dusk, otherwise known as "the fool",
is nothing short of a fighter. he's had to
scrabble tooth and nail to get to where he
sits, and it is hardly a comfortable seat.
despite his desperate, combative attitude,
all dahlia wants is normality. all of the
skirmishes, the robberies, the lies, and
the pain has molded the promising young
cat into a soldier. he aims to please, to
serve, to prove himself. but really, dahlia
just wants to stop and smell the roses.
