𝕍alisha, a name meaning one who is bright and pure yet a warrior when trouble is at hand. This meaning describes her well, but Valisha herself is occasionally one for chaos.

She will help those in need. The mountains are tall, and they are a twisty range. People tend to get lost with all the snow and wind, and then report seeing a strange, fluffy chicoon after admitting that they are lost. There are legends behind her, coming from locals that live nearby the mountain, giving her this name. Hikers also report the chicoon to have a warm feminine voice that aids them until the hiker finds their way to safety.

As the news spread of course, many begin to search the mountains to locate where Valisha is. This task is difficult, making Valisha an urban legend of the snowy mountains to some. Some say she has been around before humans existed, others say she is from another world, and comes to visit whenever another needs help. The only explanation is that the high speed winds creates enough of an energy commotion to allow her to jump worlds. However, this is only a story.

Those who have searched specifically for Valisha who have found her usually mention that she is in a cave, or any odd place that you would not find in the mountains. It is said Valisha sits on a snowy cloud, looking down to the one seeking her. The chicoon has promksed to grant each person who have successfully found her upon doing so, one gift. Though the gift would be for a price. Nobody has yet found the price need to be paid in order to receive a gift, yet only 10 people have told this story of successfully finding Valisha. They then tell that they have no payment to return, the chicoon will suggest to “come back when you do,” and then send the person away with a gust of wind, resulting in them being teleported back to the ground.

Anyone who has lost things or not found proper gear to the mountain have sometimes found those items returned or given to them, and this work is said to be that of Valisha’s as well. They are also left with a chocolate chip cookie.

It is also said Valisha is a warrior protecting the mountains from harm, and that the locals tell stories of Valisha in fierce and high tense battles, and every time she wins the protection of the mountains and the area they sit in.

“And her warmth has been given to this town in the snow ever since.”
