Prologue:
A long time ago, The Night Master was a dog called Clint, and he fell in love with Crystal, a beautiful dog. However, she rejected him for Rupert, and then a prophecy came, which said that Rupert was to be a hero, and Clint the villain. Before Clint even knew of this, the villagers exiled him. Confused and afraid, he let his anger harden his heart, and since then founded the Empire of Darkness deep in the jungle.

Main story:
The Outlaws live freely in between good and evil in the jungle.

Winter, Winter's best friend Brody, Brody's sister Rose and Brody's three friends (who are triplets) Kai, Daimon and Smokey are all heroes due to previous prophecies. The latest prophecy specifies the villain to be the Night Master and the hero to be Fynn. They go to find Fynn however he doesn't want to be a hero; he just wants to be normal. So they can't find him, he runs away. Fynn meets The Night Master, and they form an alliance. The Night Master will train him in evil ways and in return Fynn will use these skills to protect both himself and the Night Master from the heroes.

The Night Master makes a bargain with the Outlaws to leave them in peace and to allow them to stay in his territory if they don't help the heroes. When the heroes find the Outlaws, Bandit (leader of Outlaws) refuses to help the Heroes. However, Klyde falls in love with Rose. They arrange to meet in secret.

The Heroes end up finding The Night Master's camp, where the Outlaws are (the scene). The Outlaws stand in the way of the Night Master:
Winter - Let us pass, Bandit. We've never had a problem with you before, and there doesn't need to be one now!
Bandit - It's not whether there needs to be one that matters, it's whether we want one or not, and right now, I'd quite fancy ripping that look off your face
Brody - (steps towards Bandit) Watch your mouth, rogue
Klyde - (steps in between Bandit and Brody) Say that again, Superman
Brody - RARRRRRR (leaps for Klyde)
Rose - STOP! You can't hurt him!
Brody - (stopped, puzzled) Why not? He's the enemy! He's in our way!
Rose - Because...because...Klyde and I...
Klyde - ...are in love
