Anyone else miss Tygras?

Did anyone else play Tygras? I read the Reddit post recently about what happened to the site and I got really sad, I haven't had much time recently to play online games, but I was thinkin.... Can we have a memorial tribute of cats for the ones they made? If you don't know, I just think it would would be sweet. They were all dedicated to the site till finances and life wreaked havoc on them and everything was gone... Idk but I've been trying to think of how we could maybe help get it back? I know it would be a ground up job but... Dang it was cool...

i remember it! i mostly played sometime before 2011, i think?
i don't think there's any way someone could get the original website back - iirc, most of the data was lost years ago. it would need to be remade from the ground up like you said
plus, you'd have to contact the owner, and i don't know if there's any contact information out there. even if there is, they might not be interested in bringing it back

Maybe if we made a big enough effort to show that people miss it, maybe they would come out of the shadows, there's so many more platforms to spread awareness now you know? I can only hope.... It was great.

I only played it briefly, but it gave the same vibe as sites like mweor/wajas, so I liked it...If somebody knows the owner's name, we could ask them, but there's a good chance the owner has moved on to other things and no longer has the time or money to recreate the site.
