You can also battle other players, grow berries, dress up Pokémon, participate in monthly type races which basically you get sorted in a team ranging from all the different types like fire, water, ice, physic, bug and so on, for a week you have to hatch Pokémon that corresponds with the teams type to get points. Pokefarm has a big art community as well so you will probably find someone willing to do art for you.
