Hihi! I am looking for different lists of virtual pet games! Here are some sub-categories:

-Games similar to CS

-Animal breeding/collecting games like FR/lioden/wolvden

-Clickable pet sites like Dragcave/Magistream/Final Outpost

-RPG-type animal browser games (I am looking for one in particular that was a small browser-based RPG type game, you played as a cat I believe)

-basically any and all animal collection browser games! You can provide your own list(s) or link to already made ones!! (x

This list feels fairly outdated; is there another one? A large chunk of the sites listed aren't active anymore and some of the info on a few of the websites is inaccurate.

I’ll just provide the ones that I’m more familiar with, though I do remember an interesting list I found that was 20 years old! I could try to link to it if interested.

PFQ- fits into most categories, I used to play it a lot, but I’ll spare everyone the rant about why I quit, fangame of an already existing pet rpg, Pokemon!

Marapets- Years ago I tried to play this but the site was incredibly low quality and I couldn’t figure out how it worked anyways, apparently it has some dark secrets too

Claws and Clans- I am an admin for this not yet existent game that is still in conceptual development phase. Similar to PFQ and CS, it will be a Warrior Cats fangame involving collection and battles. The cat game you mentioned sounds similar to this. Heres the link to our thread!

Do you have any info on Claws and Clans? The only thing I could find was a link to BackyardChickens where there's a forum game there. Is this one going to be a roleplay style game and do they have a website yet? ^^

No we do not have a website yet, which I know as a member of the staff. Heres our official CS thread.
We haven’t started a website yet because we are still looking for coders as well as a good hosting service. There’s also a staff search thread we have in the artist search forum. As for your question, it will indeed be a role playing game!
