It’s back! FowlPlay, previously known as CSMC, is a community-run Minecraft server. After roughly a month of testing and planning, it is nearly ready for people to join! You will need to be whitelisted to join the server. Information regarding the server can be found on its respective post. There is currently only one world, but if funding allows it there are plans for a modded server as well.

Despite its name, FowlPlay aims to be a casual place you can relax after work or school. There's no skill or age requirements for any of the servers. There's no push for megabases, gigantic automatic farms, or 10 hours of daily playtime. If you want to build a dirt hut and log on once a month, you can do that! All servers have fire spread disabled and some form of keepInventory and tree felling, so you can spend more time doing the fun stuff with your busy life. Hermitcraft and Mindcrack were my childhood, and I hope that FowlPlay will provide its players with the same warm, shenanigan-filled community I longed for as a kid.

FowlPlay is entirely paid for via my adopts and commissions. You can find any adopts I have available [here]. If you’d like to be notified of any new additions, you can join the Discord server for pings! Donations are greatly appreciated but do not offer any Chicken Smoothie, Discord, or Minecraft rewards.

Once the required funding is reached, any additional funds will be put toward subsequent months, additional servers, and/or Minecraft code giveaways, depending on the surplus. I have decided to make the server’s funds public for full transparency. You can view where we’re currently at below!

RULES & DISCLAIMERS

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRETY OF THE FAQ, RULES, AND GUIDE BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS! You might find your answer in much more detail than staff may be able to provide at the moment.

RULES


1. In-game items, including pets, may not be traded or sold for real-life currency, virtual currency, art, UMA / species items or currency, CS pets or items, or pets or items from other sites. If it can't be found on the server, it can't be used as a form of currency. Services (such as building a structure for someone) may be monetized, however keep in mind the longevity of the server and world cannot be guaranteed nor can the exchange be enforced. Paying for services is entirely at your own risk.


2. Skins and usernames must be CS-appropriate.


3. Purposely taking advantage of exploits or bugs may result in a ban. Please keep the game fair for everyone. This includes vanilla x-ray and duplication bugs.


4. Items and pets will not be restored unless the issue is outside of normal server functions.


5. Pirated (or "cracked") accounts will not be offered support. If you would like to play multiplayer Minecraft, please legally purchase an account.


6. You must be 13 or older to join the Discord. You do not need to be above this age to join the server.


7. Optifine is not supported; it is old and breaks a lot of modern modifications. Using Optifine is entirely at your own risk. You can find a list of alternatives here.


8. You must fill out the form with your Minecraft username. You will not be able to join otherwise. The server is whitelisted for security purposes.


9. No unsolicited offers on others' pets or items.


10. No mini-modding.


11. If you have been blocked on CS by someone they have no obligation to interact with you in-game, including staff.


12. Guilt-tripping, whining, begging, or otherwise making other players feel bad for their achievements is not tolerated.


13. And the Golden Rule: treat others how you want to be treated. Do not take other players' animals or items (including farm loot) without their permission. Do not destroy or modify another player's builds without their permission. No PvP unless it has been agreed upon by all participants. Everything is logged and your accounts are linked in order to join.


14. By joining the server(s) and/or Discord you are agreeing to follow Mojang's End User License Agreement (EULA).

Donations do not offer any in-game, Discord server, or Chicken Smoothie benefits. All donations go toward keeping the server running.

There are no guarantees for how long any server will last; it is entirely dependent on how much use it sees, the RAM needed for it to run, and other factors.

In the event this server goes on to an additional season, items, structures, and pets will not be transferred.

All server logs are privately archived. They store usernames and user IDs, IP addresses, chat messages (including private messages), and more. They may be handed over to CS staff if necessary but will otherwise only be accessible by HEXORCISM and/or the current server owner. In the event they must be shared with other people outside of the former, such as mod developers for debugging, all private information will be removed as best as is humanly possible.

This server does not use the default 25565 port. Make sure you include the :25788 extension!
It is Java and does not currently have crossplay support.

Likely best described as 'semi-vanilla,' many of this server's features have been decided on by its players. You do not need anything special to be able to join the server. It uses a mix of Terralith and Geophilic for its Overworld generation, and its Nether and End have been lightly modified as well. Multiple quality-of-life changes have also been made, such as additional recipes to make certain items renewable or the ability to teleport to your friends.

All block modifications are logged and it uses a chat filter slightly more elaborate than your average Discord bot. You can also, optionally, lock your blocks and enable or disable PvP.
