What is DragCave?
Dragon Cave is a virtual pet site a bit different from some of the others. You can raise, breed, and grow your own dragons of a variety of breeds. Dragon cave dragons grow through views and unique views, which a user can receive from placing their dragon in forums or through the help of really effective sites that earn them with little effort on the user's part, known as click sites.

Dragon Cave has its own forums as well as a huge player base.

What does that mean?
DC: Dragon Cave, referring to the site itself
CB: Cave Born, referring to dragon with no parents that was grabbed from the Biomes/main caverns
AC/AP: Abandoned Cave/Abandoned Page, referring to the page of eggs abandoned by their owners which other users can grab from
Lineage: a dragon/egg/hatchling's family tree, shown on their profile page; certain lineages are more desirable than others
Thuwed: a somewhat valuable lineage that originated off of the Dragon Cave creator's scroll, TJ09.
Dorkface: a somewhat valuable type of lineage that originated off of a CB Gold Dragon named Midas Dorkface who's owned by ladiefare
IOU: "I owe you', usually referring to owing another user an egg or hatchling that they can't give straight away
Cooldown: the time after taking an egg from a biome, breeding a dragon, or using a BSA before you can abandon the CB egg, breed that dragon again, or use that dragon's BSA

What is this egg?
You'll get a much faster answer by looking at the DragCave Wiki and finding it by yourself. The wiki can help with:
where can I find this egg, what is this egg, how rare is this egg, breed specific actions, etc etc etc.

My egg has a giant hole in it!!! Why isn't it hatching?
Eggs hatch at 3 days and 23 hours if they have enough unique views and views. The same thing goes for hatchlings.

Click my eggs?
No. That's spam. Post them here. Dragons don't even need clicks to grow. It's only the unique views and views that matter.

What are click sites?
Put your dragons on click sites to get them more views.Careful your egg doesn't get sick if you use click sites.

What happens if my egg gets sick?
Hide it until it's not sick anymore plus a few hours. It'll be fine as long as it doesn't continue to get views while it is sick.
Hatchlings can get sick too.

What are trophy levels?
You get a trophy on your scroll depending on the number of adult/frozen dragons.
New Users :: 0-50 non-growing dragons :: 4 eggs or 12 total growing dragons
Bronze :: 51 - 200 non-growing dragons :: 5 eggs or 15 growing dragons
Silver :: 201-500 non-growing dragons :: 6 eggs or 18 growing dragons
Gold :: 500+ non-growing dragons :: 7 eggs or 21 growing dragons
There is NO limit to the amount of dragons you can have! Special breeds, like leetle trees or holiday dragons, are limited.

How do I trade?
Get a magi dragon. Its BSA allows you to trade.

What are BSAs?
Breed Specific Actions are special abilities assigned to a few types of dragons.

Oh yes. I was very disappointed with the wrapping wings. I love the Solstice dragons though!

I like the Valentine dragons the best out of all the holiday ones. I'm actually dissappointed in this year's dragons. They look alright! Don't get me wrong. The sprinting is amazing. But I just don't like the design.
