Cromimi - Virtual Mice and Hamsters!

I recently joined a sim for mice and hamsters, which there don't seem to be too many of. You can care for your pets, dress them up, train them, challenge other pets, play games, complete objectives/goals, decorate your cages, participate in contests on the forum, and breed your pets! I have a rodent named Blackie, but why does it say all the rodents have a locked purchase in the Pet Shop? And I bought a seashell necklace.. it won't let me put it on Blackie -_-
