There is a contest that was started after this thread to find more artists, and we will accept more entries. We will make a decision between the artists here and the contest at the end of the contest. We may extend the date of our decision, however, until adoptables are up if need be.

Introduction:
As few of you know there is an Adoptables site underway by the name of Chibifurs, in the past little while we've been interviewing and seeking moderators(see thread here. Now that we have the site up and running, moderators selected, etc--- The time has come to begin searching for some Good Artists[specifications will be listed below] to add to our team.

What we are looking for:

Currently seeking Color-In Artists that have an open mind and a lot of creativity to produce well thought out designs on various species. Specifically, we need those of them that apply to be dedicated to both the Site and their responsibilities, which includes keeping up with the requirements below.

Requirements:

You MUST have Photoshop, Painttool Sai, Gimp or another layered program that accepts .PSD files[Recommended to also be able to do transparency]
Must be able to devote AT LEAST 5 hours of Internet time per week or more.
Must be able to produce a minimum of 2 litters per month of various species.
Must sign our agreement form that I will send to you, if you are accepted.
Must be honest with the dealings with the site. (In other words, we don't want to see you cheating newbies of pets, etc)
Must be respectful to authority as well as to other Artists, Mods, and Members.
Must include a Character Reference[A username or e-mail of someone we can contact to speak for you, your personality, etc.]

Rewards
If you stay a member of the team and are dedicated (in other words, if you fulfill your requirements each month) you will as an artist receive a custom. Either made by you, or another member of the artist's team. You also have a chance to earn more customs later if you continue to show dedication to the team.
There may also be some modding capabilities for artists as well (I have to double check on that one)

Lol, yes Shadow, you may if you'd like. you'll still have to fill out the form. However, Mods[if they sign the form and send it back to me, getting mine, Strudel's or Riley's permission] can color some litters if they so wish. :3

I love to draw, and I've always thought it'd be cool to be an artist on a site. I also think it'd be fun. Not sure how to put it into words.
I guess I want to join because I love art and drawing, and I think it'd be fun...
About how often are you online?
At least 5 hours a day on average... I'm kinda addicted to the computer.. xD
Favorite Colors to use:
I like to use green, purple, blue, and grey, although I'm willing to use any color.
Least favorite colors to use:
It really depends... I strongly dislike pink and yellow, but I do use them from time to time.

Reason for wanting to join:

I already joined the site, but I want to become and artist because I'm already enjoying the creating and coloring of the linearts in my shop, but doign a pet adoptables site would really allow me to be creative to the highest degree. I'm currently opening my shop less and less but I still have a lot of ideas I want to put into action

About how often are you online?

everyday, atleast an hour or more, and even more durring the summer and one the weekends { up to seven hours daily, sometimes more }

Favorite Colors to use:

I like to keep a borad spectrum of colors, but I do like the more moderate tones { no neon colors }
earthy tones { olives, browns, gray blues, floral tones } and themes really are my favorites, but my inspirations can lead me to color in things with ornate designs and colors that balance eachother out

Least favorite colors to use:

definately neon colors, but I'll use them as highlights to enhance other colors { flowers on a tree, eye colors, etc }

those are some of my recent designs { the second to last is probably the worst example of the design, I just wanted to show that I'm ok with ornate details and designs }


I'm applying now, but I may have to remove my form depending on if GIMP re-downloads properly { it spazzed but I should be able to fix it }

Well I didn't expect to see the font the colors you liked to use XD
But the design looks good, however we want to see a range of different types.
When you get some more up, please do post them. I'd really love to see them.

We want creativity to flow, some designs will be elaborate, some unique, others sort of simplistic or some just off the wall. So show us what you can do and what you can come up with, we'd love to see as I had stated. :3 Look forward to hearing from you again and thank you for applying!
