Is anyone who has a chicken able to give me some advice on catching one? If so, how did you get it?

I am quite good at catching eggs, I have caught 4 papers, 3 cheeses, and a leetle tree(and seen another, though I couldn't get it due to the limit). I have also witnessed a CB gold/silver drop in the Alpine, so the hunting part isn't a problem :3

they appear anymore, look for this egg is smaller than the others. I caught two chickens so far

I caught about 3 chickens so far. I just happened to see it in the cave. Keep on hunting in the cave, you'll find one eventually
