All clown masks were the rage back then. Anyway, i still wish headdresses were removed fully or just put back in stores.

I disagree, honestly. Headdresses are pretty coveted items, and people have worked hard for them. To bring them back in stores or remove them completely would basically throw away all the work people did to obtain them, not to mention the items they used to trade for them (it's possible they traded multiple long spikes for one, or any number of other valuable items).
If AJ removes headdresses for those reasons, they may as well remove spikes, beta tail armors, and who-knows-how-many other things. I've gone around saying things like "Trade me so-and-so item", and I'm not really sure what's annoying about that (I mean, unless the person has crap items on their list, but no one can do anything about that). I'm just trying to achieve an item goal, and that's fine.
Basically, as long as the trading system is around, that's going to happen. There's no way to avoid it, and removing valuable and highly sought-out items would only cause an uproar.
