Classic hasn't gotten updates in years, though supposedly WildWorks is hoping to start updating it again.

About a month or two ago I think? It wasn't an official statement from WildWorks, it came from Clark Stacey, he did an interview with one of the Jambassadors. The gist of it is that Classic just isn't really built in a such a way that updates are all that easy to make, which is why they stopped doing updates, it was just too much for the team to handle at the time. But I guess they're working on rebuilding or at least tweaking the engine Classic was built on to make it easier, and then they'll start doing updates again. There wasn't any sort of timeline or ETA though, so who knows when/if that's going to happen.

oh i hope it does, i kinda got uninterested in ajc due to the lack of updates, especially with adventures and the lore. i was obsessed with the lore and stories that came with the adventures and i am so sad they stopped, i remember each time a new adventure came out i would do it and look around it getting every bit of information i could. i would make conspiracies about the alphas and jamaa and thoroughly enjoyed that aspect of the game, well i still do but with no new adventure content in nearly 5 years it's hard to connect all the dots with unfinished storylines.
the lack of updates also is not doing any favours for the game which is losing more and more players sadly, i hope that what clark said is true and they take steps to try improve the game for future updates. it would be really neat

Ahh i haven't played animal jam in years but I do remember that adventures were like. The best part lol. I just wished they allowed everyone to have access to all adventures because i had nothing to do once i lost my memberships Aj did have a really interesting lore and I lovedd zios and mira

before i left i gave away a lot of items which i didn't think were
that valuable (alpha armour and promo items) yet since coming
back ive seen that theyre some of the most highly in demand
items ): ,, regret that now lmao

anyway im looking for new friends there! all of my old buddies are
inactive unfortunately,, i want someone to do TFD with tbh.
