I see someone a few posts up was having trouble, can anyone else not log into their AJ account?? I have no idea if I got a password reset link, the parent email is soooo old, I can't get into it anymore. I can't play ajpw either. But I know my password for both the AJ accounts and parent account, but I can't log into any of them??? It keeps telling me my password is wrong. Im curious if anyone else has been having this problem

Edit: i just saw their twitter.... they are resetting everyones. I'm speechless. I've had my account since beta days. and I fr can't get into the parent email... what do I do? so did i just lose the account?

You should be able to email AJHQ and tell them about your issue.

a temporary password was given to a lot of people. it should be somewhere in your emails?

You could also hit the forgot password for the parent dashboard and it should send you an email. Change that and then you should be able to change your account's password from there.

animal jam was created 10 years ago, and I still find it crazy how there still hasn't been a single emote update

I'm still in disbelief that they let their data get compromised.

Tons of people were making money off of selling other people's items and their personal info. I'm most likely certain that this violated the COPPA act. I honestly think their game should get shut down just for that.

Not only that, but how you pay for membership on the game and their customer service is still trash.

And when you get scammed or hacked, 50% of people don't even get their stuff back because of how many people have claimed to be hacked falsely.

Also, the 20 items only is ridiculous because EVERYONE has more than 20 items on their account.

I used to be so obsessed with this game back when it was actually an amazing game to play. Now it's just filled with negative energy and people only playing to get the 'cool' items that the game has. It used to be about animal facts. It's been going downhill since they got rid of Nat Geo

agreed, I quit back in 2018 and I'm glad I did. the community is awful and moderation hasn't changed. the updates are extremely weak and everything is so repetitive

RIMS are Rare Item Mondays! Basically it's a rare that comes out every Monday. It can be a clothing item or a piece of furniture or whatnot.

I'm not well versed in what's rare and what's not rare (I don't really play at all anymore), but this website really helps me:

"R.I.M." stands for Rare Item Monday. Every Monday, a "rare" item is released in one of the shops in Jamaa. Basically, it's just an item with a golden "RARE" plaque underneath it. It is often a re-colour of an existing item. It's kind of funny because they're not usually actually valuable, despite being called "rare items", since people can just buy as many as they want the day one comes out.

The phrase "beta" actually refers to the beta testing period of Animal Jam, which occurred in 2010. So, a "beta" item is an item that was available during beta testing. Many Jammers mistakenly believe the word describes an item of value. You can find all items released during beta testing at Animal Jam Wiki on Fandom.com here.
