My mom got the email and there was a link to resetting the password for my account on it. We still haven't reset the password yet because I'm scared it might be a fishing scam and I'll loose all my items that I've worked years to get. I play both animal jam classic and play wild and I have some items on both that are really special to me, like my ice dragon wings on play wild that have been my dream item since I started playing, and my black long collar that brought me and a few other jammers together when we all got it in a forgotten desert adventure. I also read that someone earlier on this thread got their account hacked when they reset their password but it won't let me play if I don't reset my password. On play wild when I try to play on there it says "connection timed out, returning to login screen" and then it will just never load and I'll have to restart my computer, and on classic when I put in the login info it says something like "account name doesn't exist". What should I do?

also I hope sugargliders come back on play wild. I had one named "Silverpaw" on my REALLY old account that I forgot the password to, I miss Silverpaw.

i,,, just rejoined animal jam after a few year hiatus, and i have no idea what absolutely anything is worth now. everybody seems to have spikes, when did that happen? it’s been wild and i’m still trying to catch up on everything i’ve missed, constantly jumping to the aj worth wiki for all my trades has been a pain, but i’m sure i’ll learn, just in time c,:

If you got the email directly from AJHQ, then it's not a scam. You need to reset your password or else you can't log in.

I decided to rejoin Animal Jam about two days ago (AGAIN after quitting two times.)

I wrote a Twenty One Pilots comment on someone's Jammer Wall and they gifted me a red long because they liked it so much. (They like TOP too). They're so sweet.

And someone in Aldan was giving away wristbands for free, and I got a red one to match my long collar.

And someone put a black long in their shop for 100 diamonds, but I only had seven. Bummer.

Right now, my current goal is to collect one of every colour collar and wristband. So far, I have a red long set and a blue short spiked collar I got from The Forgotten Desert forever ago before I left for the last time.

I see someone a few posts up was having trouble, can anyone else not log into their AJ account?? I have no idea if I got a password reset link, the parent email is soooo old, I can't get into it anymore. I can't play ajpw either. But I know my password for both the AJ accounts and parent account, but I can't log into any of them??? It keeps telling me my password is wrong. Im curious if anyone else has been having this problem

Edit: i just saw their twitter.... they are resetting everyones. I'm speechless. I've had my account since beta days. and I fr can't get into the parent email... what do I do? so did i just lose the account?

Edit Again sorry: Okay so there was a giant breech and a bunch of peoples info was sold... geez. well there goes my account I guess lol

You should be able to email AJHQ and tell them about your issue.

Go to the "Forgot Password" link and get a new password reset email.
Reset your password and you'll be good to go.

If you're scared, you can always have your parent lock your account while you change your password. That way, even if somebody does have your password, they can not log in until your parent unlocks the account.

You should be able to email AJHQ and tell them about your issue.

a temporary password was given to a lot of people. it should be somewhere in your emails?
