I'm new to FR can anyone help me with basics?

I have a question about skins, do the ones available in the marketplace change? I've seen a really pretty one, for my dragon but it's not in the marketplace at the moment. Also how long before the others are available, that is, if they are still sold.

There shouldn't be any skins in the marketplace right now~? If you're talking about treasure not gems. Currently the only treasure skins that stock in the treasure marketplace are during festivals at the end of each month.

Maybe it has been retired then, wasn't sure because it didn't say anything about it. Thanks for helping me :3

I feel so stupid...
I just checked on my computer and I don't think it was sold in the marketplace. I originally saw it on somebody's dragon so I assumed it was sold in the marketplace. Newbie mistake. I checked through the forums, I think somebody made it and sold it on one of their own threads.

I want to get a Imperial, but I want to get a good one. So my question is, how do the lineages affect the dragon? Is it the shorter the better? Or does it not matter? If so, is there a way to check the lineage of the dragon before buying it? So I don't blow my money on a really long lineaged dragon.
Also, are certain traits [Tiger, Clown, Eye Spot] more rare/desired?

Lineage means nothing, trust me. This isn't like WAJAS where only 1-4gens are worth anything. In FA you can not create a custom dragon. All dragons come from the lines of the starters that everyone gets when they start playing.

And that depends, some would rather have a Basic, some love the extra traits. But the trait that is worth the most is Tri-gene. Those are SUPER recessive and hard to pass down. So, it's best to have a Tri on both your dragons is you pair them. Trust me.
