A question: are floret wyverns rare? I missed the last few releases, and have been able to get CB pairs of every new dragon with ease except the floret. I can’t seem to find any. I’ve only ever seen 2 in the biomes but they were snatched so fast.

I don't know if they're considered rare by the ingame mecanics, but they are certanly popular among players. I mean, a floret is only 200 in the gem store, but in trades i still see people trading xenos, golds and prizes for florets. And just as you, i only saw florets in biomes, never got one.

Today was a very bad breeding day for my metals... I literally got nothing except a Nebula and a black lol.

Well, prize fails that aren’t second-Gen aren’t usually worth much in trades. I’ve found third gen prize-fails in the AP before.

What does it mean when a breeding attempt is a "fail"?

When breeding prizes and such you usually want the offspring to be a prize, but the other parent is usually more common and as such the egg is usually the breed of the other parent. This makes it a ‘fail’, because you got the common breed rather than a prize and the lineage can’t be continued from that egg
