Egg Cave Easter Hunt Question

Hello! The forums for Egg Cave aren't very active, so I figured I'd try asking here. I can't figure out the Easter event at all, and haven't found any eggs. What am I supposed to do? Is it all RNG? Should I be analyzing each page? Are they very small? Do you have any other tips for it?
