They're trying to trick people with them, as always. They're hoping that some people might not notice that they're the Monday Rare, and trade a lot for them thinking they're promo or unreleased. Happens every time a high demand item becomes a RIM.

May I ask what that party hat is, where to get it, and when? ^^

It's today's Monday Rare. You can find it in the normal clothing shop for 1,000 gems.

Someone had some decent items on their trade list and was asking for a spike, oh, and let's not ignore the fact they had the new party hat on their list as well! As if that party hat is going to make your trade list 10x rarer. Honestly people. I swear they do this with the diamond shop spikes as well.
It's time for a horror story.

AJHQ: Oh wow! It seems our Jammers really love spikes! Hmm, but they're causing some problems. Let's release DIAMOND SHOP SPIKES (Aj always seems to capitalize important words -like in adventures- because apparently they must not want to italicize words) and then everything will be well again!
*releases diamond shop spikes for four days only*
Jammers: OMG OMG OMG DIAMOND SHOP SPIKES!!! OMG ONE IS RAINBOW! ONE IS GOLD!!! THEY'RE RARE BECAUSE THEY'RE GOLD AND RAINBOWY!

Jammers: OMG THESE SPIKES ARE NO LONGER IN STORES THEY'RE EVEN MORE RARE! TRADE ME 1,000,000 BLACK LONGS FOR MY GOLD SPIKE!!!
