Australia? I wonder what Easter is like for those on the southern hemisphere? It feels strange to me because Easter is typically portrayed with European traditions pointing to new growth, things waking up from dormancy and baby animals, and for those in Australia it is the opposite, going into winter.

It's very hot and humid at least in the state I'm from, Western Australia. Over East Australia they get quite a bit of rain and floods tho.

The celebration of Easter is pretty much the same just with melted chocolates :D cos of the weather. We don't focus TOO much on the spring-ish theme but we do use it with decorations, etc. Some trees are red or orange as well, not much green grass where I'm from :o

That's how it is for my family anyway, I'm sure people do it differently!

In Victoria at the moment it's still very green and summery 😅 not sure if it's the quantity of ever greens we have here or just my area but it doesn't feel like autumn yet at all 😁 (no melted chocolates over here this year though unlike the other Aussie posts hehe, its not quite that warm)

it's very green and summery and oof ouch sunburn on my neck weather here in southern NSW too! i live high in the mountains though so it isnt quuieeet as hot to as melt chocolates or anything; but frankly who doesnt love a good cold, right from the fridge piece of chocolate bunny !! 😁😁

Noticed that the bunny doesn't have the horse mane previous horse bunnies had. I'm assuming there's others without the mane, but it would be neat if it had it.

I’m in Canada and Easter here is cold, it’s been -11 Celsius here, rn it’s 1°C. The snow luckily is melting but yesterday it was snowing. I remember we had Easter in April and it was snowing while we were camping. I always wished for a more warm Easter but spring is like this here. You can’t really do much outside without being cold but I wanna embrace spring and go out more cause, it’s spring!

The lone wanderer. So tired, so miserable.
All but a mere shadow of an once vibrant soul.

Image
Cursed by fate, burdened by sorrow.
Sentenced to a life of nothing but loneliness...
It looks like not everyone deserves a happy ending, after all.

Sooo... are the dragons based on specific plants?

The golden one somehow reminds me of Ginkgo/Maidenhair, although it doesn't quite fit the shapes 100% 🤔

Sorry about that error with the items today. We’ve set it so everyone can adopt those only 5 times now (and removed the extras)- so if you originally adopted once, you can grab a few extra sets!
