Is it correct that there's ~48 hours (well, like 47 right now) remaining for token collecting, and that the token limit is 300 now?

Yes there are approx 48 hours left for token hunting, the 11th is the last day of token hunting. I believe the limit is 300 now though I don't think anyone has actually confirmed that yet (I think its unlikely they would have raised it by 100 with only a few days of token hunting left though since the last limit was 250).

While we don't have any confirmation to this end, the general rhetoric among the chatting users is that there does seem to be an increase in drop rate of animal eggs this year compared to past years. Some posts going into more detail about that can be seen here and here. ^^

There is no set C$ value for the animal eggs, though in past years, animal eggs have been quoted as being worth an uncommon from the year of release (with exceptions for certain eggs). I recommend taking a look at the current Easter event swap thread to get an idea for what other users are valuing their eggs at!

The ones you adopted on April 5th are all PPS and will never grow.
You can check them by clicking onto them, it will say "Full-grown" on their page.
