Now I have problem with their specific names, because according to sources both of them seem to be Felis chaus affinis, since the first photo was taken in India (according to the newest Mammal Species of the World, Felis chaus affinis lives in southern India), and the second photo is described as depicting the very one Felis chaus affinis, but they do look significantly different. Google isn't very helpful, either

Guess I'll have to wait 'till the artist confirm the exact species those cats are based on or 'till they're named by our community and put in the proper Name Guide.

Sorry for the trouble, people, I couldn't leave it like that, but it seems I don't really have a choice. What can I say, OCD is a nuisance ^^" Thanks again, Yuzen! :3

I just need to rant real' quick about how excited I am for this event! So, uh, don't mind me...

I was already getting really excited for this because, I mean, c'mon it's the summer event for crying out loud! But as the days go on I keep getting more and more excited!! I love so many of the animals they're giving out. Tapirs are one of my favorite animals and I even have a malayan tapir stuffed animal in real life. (heheh) I looked at the event outcomes and my excitement continued more and more! I love all of the stuffed animals that can be received at the duck races! And for crying out loud, you can get an okapi at the river!? (I'm actually really sad about that one right now, I only looked at the event outcomes after I spent a bunch of my stuff. For instance, I accidentally gave my saplings to the guy in the bungalow because I got to excited and forgot to check that he was the one that would grow the saplings... Seriously, I clicked WAY to fast!) I love okapis so much!! I am DEFINITELY saving up for at least two! And wow, everything looks amazing! I love the little story line that's coming along and all of the characters are great, once again! I'm also definitely going to be saving up for some of the big cats since I'm also really excited about them! (It'd be cool if they did a fossa, even though they probably won't. After all it's not even a cat or a dog... Ooh, or maybe an aye-aye, since they're primates. But since everything's already set in stone, only time will tell. :D ) I really want the kudu fennec fox as well! Oh, and the tenrec! The gorillas too, wow they look amazing! I can't wait to get everything I want and more!!

Anyways, sorry, i just had to get that out. I still feel like I'm buzzing with excitement! I'm kind of sad though, I won't have much time to be on a lot to get many tokens and many people don't like the idea of trading there's away since who doesn't want some of these amazing pets and items to themselves! *cough, cough* maybe if you have some extras you could toss one my way? ;P I'm just kidding, do what you will! Thanks to anyone who read this whole thing, haha, I hope you didn't waste your time, and hopefully you feel the same way! XD

Has anyone else noticed an increase in resort token drops? I just got like 5 in a row which is about half of the total I've gotten throughout the entire event. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, I'm just curious as to whether I got super lucky or if they tweaked the chances due to complaints.

I feel like the opposite, the first day of the event I maybe collected 10+ tokens, but since then I've only collected 5. I get fruit like CRAZY which is annoying because there are so many fruit tokens. Personally, I think they included way too many tokens. Everytime I collect fruits/seeds I sigh

I feel like I'm the only person who's not a fan of the gorillas. I can't pinpoint it exactly but I think it has something to do with the dog lineart doesn't feel like a good base lineart for them. I don't even know what I think would be, maybe nothing we currently have on the site. I understand why they were done, they just don't work for me. I wish I did like them because gorillas are interesting and I'm usually fine with species we have edited to look like other species we don't have.

I honestly hope we can adopt the duckies at the end of the event. Last year you could win a racer and because we win prizes, maybe at the end as a parting gift we get the ducks :3
