hey now-- i'm helping! it's a tough job, but somebody has to keep playing golf in order to keep the resort authorities distracted!

(i'm just glad the convention security deposit is on Tess' credit card and not mine, coz i have a feeling there's gonna be some charges from resort management against the group deposit after today... )

I'm in the boat of panic right now aha! Even though I wont keep all of the outcomes
after the event I still need to get all of them just to satisfy my ocd aha! the
sad thing is, is that i've had three? resort tokens from all the banners i've clicked
and so the cats look like an impossibility at the moment aha! and typical it's for
cats, which is one of the species i do actually need to keep xD on a more cheery
note, i am in love with the gorillas! they're such an interesting animal :*

I just calculated on my end that to keep one of each resort token for collection purposes, and get one of each pet/item from the trade ins that require them (I'm using 4 egg outcomes as a basis for this since we have no idea but there were 4 pet outcomes from the duck race) you would need at least 49 resort tokens so far in this event, and that's if everything goes your way and if there's only 4 egg outcomes.

I think I saw the banner limit was 200, which means right now that's 49/200 banners would need to be resort tokens at minimum, witch is 24.5%. But only 4/25 tokens from the banner are resort tokens so that's only 16%. This is ridiculous. I'm loaded up on fruit right now because there's only 2 trade ins that require them needing a total of 30 of them (including 1 of each for collection purposes) while they're 12/25 of the banner tokens. I honestly don't think I've ever been so frustrated with tokens during a summer event before. Yes, the banner limit will probably be raised and there will probably be more trade ins later for all of the tokens but I'd really like them to hold off on the resort tokens being required anymore...

EDIT: I didn't realize there were FOUR different outcomes from the tour. Yeah, with this distribution, if the tokens are an evenly random chance per token and not type of token which it seems like they are for me, then it's not mathematically possible unless you're lucky with resort tokens or they've upped the limit already since I saw it last mentioned...

Cel did a lot of numbers and they're almost definitely weighted by type of token and not an even random chance.

At some point the construction has to go away or finish, right? I'm feeling like there's going to be a short time frame where you can get the gorillas.

I wouldn't worry too much. Typically trade ins are not removed before the event ends.

Maybe we will destroy the machines but we can continue to scavenge from the scrap pile? Not sure how it will be done, but I think it will be ok ^^

I really like the gorillas, especially since I think the white one is based off of Snowflake.



He was a albino variant of the critically endangered lowland gorillas, poached as a baby when his entire group was killed. He ended up becoming pretty famous, but like the origins of white tigers there's tragedy in how they came to be. Of course, the artist could have just decided to make an albino outcome for the heck of it, but I'm going to pretend it was intentional haha.

well most captive tigers are terribly inbred because we know how to get a white one with such breeding. a good deal of wild animals are white in the wild, due to humans wiping out their preditors, resulting in their recessive genes getting into the gene pool. "I hope no jerk hunter kills this white _______ for a trophy" they will say, then it's "if there were more preditory animals, this white ______ would of gotten eaten easier"

So I'm slightly confused. Are you saying that the token chances are unfair? In consideration to what's needed for them as well (aka all the stalls needing certain tokens and the outcomes ratio) if so then this kinda needs to be fixed.
