It's at the bottom of the page. I've noticed you sometimes need to open at least 5 posts or more you get a candy. Once or twice I've been lucky and found one faster.

Basically, I lurk on the website and read random posts for 20mins, then I click on the banner at the bottom when it appears, and repeat the process

Haha! I usually don't buy items before I finish with the pets, but I couldn't resist doing this! XD

I usually do it the other way around, because I just cant wait to do something lol. D: I just love playing around with the items while I wait for the timer. xD
