Dose anyone know if these turn into different pets like bats or is it just one pet?

Yes, there will be multiple bat outcomes. We don't know how many different ones there will be yet.

Most the time when you click a banner, you get one of the token items with which you can buy stuff on the event page, but you also have an rare chance of getting a different type of prize instead. During some years (like this one) you may get a pet instead, during others there'll be decorative item sets.
Typically there will be more pets/items released throughout the event, so this is most likely not going to stay the only pet you'll be able to get from the banner.

At the beginning of the event those pets are usually valued pretty highly as everyone's scrambling to get one, but by the end of the event they're usually easier to get a hold of, so don't worry if you don't find one right off the bat, as there's still many days to go c:

How many bat cages is everybody getting? Do you think 4 will be enough?

so 2018 gave us 3 outcomes from this token bat cage



2017 gave 4 outcomes from this one



2016 had 5 outcomes


and 2015 had 7 outcomes



hmm, i was hoping to see some correlation between the cage design and the number of outcomes, but i dont see one...
(except 2017 maybe had 4 colors in the cage design...)

It's ok, not everyone gets one. But you might get something else cool!

I also haven't gotten one yet I'm hoping I might still get one!!
