That was WAY too low. Many people barely got enough to swap for missing eggs, not to mention loads of people missed that infamous animal egg 100.
But this year the average drop rate seem to be around 7-10%, my personal drop rate is about 8% and that's too high if you ask me. People are drowning in them.
I would personally set the drop rate at 5-7%, I think that might be the sweet spot. No idea how it actually works behind the scene. It might always be the same every year and some years it just leans to one end or the other of the spectrum. But it would really be nice if the staff were able to find a sweet spot, just the right amount of animal eggs being dropped.

I gotta say though, every year I'm really happy to participate in the Easter event. There aren't any Easter events that adults can participate in, unless you start one yourself. Thank you for always hosting such great events!
I have also had high success in getting animal eggs, which has never been my normal for Easter event. Every time I've wishlisted an animal egg, I've later been able to find it. I think I've only traded for ... two? Three?
