Again disappointed with tonight's cockatrice growth. x-x I was super excited for a full-black chicken with blue eyes, but it's just oddly iridescent in the wrong ways. It's still pretty; all of them are, but definitely not my favorite.

I'd have to say the first is my favorite; the green and brownish red work extremely well together. More realistic, I guess? I do love the lineart though, which is why I hoard them. <3 I hope the last chick will turn out well. ;o;

I like the iridescence and the colours. C: It totally looks like the shine a black rooster would have on it's feathers.

The cockatrices are amazing - hoping one of my late adopted eggs hangs in there for day 5 as I'd hate to have to try to trade for a black cockatrice. :p
