I traded in all my tokens as well, except for the one of each I'm keeping. I hope I made good choices about what to get. I already had all the pets and items except for the devil fox, so I was trying to speculate about what would make for good trading, something I haven't had to do for an event before.

No one wants to trade me this cutie :C I had two eggs and they turned out into one of the outcomes I was missing but this one still avoids me. :C

Mine is still a chick, but today's cockatrice is my favourite too. So pretty!.

And the Day of the Dead litter is stunning, each and every one of the outcomes! <3

I just traded in my tokens too. Got doubles of some pets I wanted and backgrounds and eyes and a couple of wigs. I got my favourite wig and my least favourite one too, so it's fair enough, I guess. xD

What's the story behind the fungus pets?

I was curious about that too so I searched the tread for any mention of "fungus" and found this:

They're inspired by cordeyceps, which are a fungus that takes over it's hosts body and basically turns it into living dead. Think of a clicker, from the last of us, if you will c:

Its not so much a story as an interesting fact, but there you have it. :)

The Last of Us was the first thing I thought of when I saw those pets! It's pretty awesome that they are actually based on that fungus c:

Funny enough, I've never even played TLAU; I'm too chicken to play zombie games!
I'm just a loser obsessed with fungus, and Cordyceps seemed festive!
