2018 Summer Event: Pet, Item, & Event Discussion

has anyone had luck on the putting green? I've spent countless tokens only to end up in the water every time. All I'll gotten was cups

Yeah, I've had luck. It is all random, but I've gotten two eggs out of fourteen tries ^^

I'm finally home so I can keep up properly with this event now!

I'm so beyond excited for these! We're overdue for a new species (march & christmas '13, summer & christmas '14, september '15, january '16, but nothing last year or this year so far) and given the little eggs and the feather, there's of course a strong hope they'll be birds of some sort..
I have a personal theory they may be geese - the combination of the stretched shape of the egg and the little faint speckles are reminiscent. They also look a bit like snake eggs, though, but there was that post from Tess from a while back saying we probably wouldn't get snakes; but all things considered, those would make much more sense in the context of this event.
Either way, I cannot wait to find out!!

I finally got one egg! I'm hoping for macaws (to match the event) but I'm guessing they are going to add a new species for the long run? Like available every month or almost every month. I looked at other peoples outcomes and it appears there is only 1 color feather, does that mean there is only going to be one outcome?

is anyone else finding the resort chips elusive? i think i've had one or two
in total and i need to get my hands on these adorable eggs! xD

I've had a fair few resort tokens, it's the fruits and seeds I keep missing. :'P I've had loads of saplings, but I like using those in dress ups.

Yeah I keep getting resort chips. I don’t mind since I’m trying to get as many eggs as possible but I’m low on seedlings

Nah, there will likely be more than one outcome - just like how (usually) adopts at the start of the month have one single look in their first stage. We didn't get any growing pets last Summer, but in the space event there was one baby hamster that grew into three different outcomes

I cannot keep up with the number of resort tokens needed to try and get all clothing items, everything from the duck race, and everything from the golf course. I've only managed to do the duck race 7 times and won 4 times out of those. Which means we've got all the ponies but nowhere near all of the plushes. x.x I've only managed to do the golf course twice and got the egg both times, so no totems. I guess at least we're getting the pets. Lol

I love this event and all but I just really dislike how many token there are. It's terribly annoying. I have literally basically only ever got the spout tokens, especially before they were useful. But now I've gotten all the outcomes for that and with all the resort chip games, it's so agitating to never get them. No one will swap with me, either. So i'm just stuck here, watching as people get new pets while I haven't even ever played the game.

to me the new egg looks like a snake egg,
and perhaps as some others commented the rainbow feather / wings mean it will be a feathered/winged/flying snake in this instance...

I'm kinda in the same boat as far as the chip games. I have to keep telling myself to be patient for when people are overflowing with tokens/swaps in a few days. :>

Is anyone else having the same issue with the golf game because I lost three times in a row in the beginning and now I keep getting hole in ones
