2023 Summer Event: Pet, Item & Event Discussion

Since I had seen a few people mention about bracelet versus bead token trade-ins, I decided to attempt some math~
Please forgive me if any of this is wrong, I just wanted to try and highlight some general data! ^^;

Collection Periods: Initial Numbers and Limits
event dates (July-August): 28, 29, 30, 31, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Token collecting closed at rollover into August 9th.
Bead token collection for the event started on July 28, day 1 of the event and ran until the closing of token collecting on August 8.
- 12 days for beads, maxed at 300 banners by end of event

Bracelet tokens were introduced at the craft table on day 4, marked above in bold.
- 9 days for bracelets, limit unknown, but if you pulled once every hour for the entire event you would max at 216 bracelets
(likely actually capped at 200, given past limits)

Event Trade-Ins: Numbers of Items/Pets per Token Type
As a preface to this section, I would like to state that these numbers are based on minimum required trade-ins, assuming either optimal outcome pulls or swapping littermate/item outcomes with other users for a complete collection!
I realize that this ^ is not everyone's play style or actual experience, this is just to establish the baseline/minimum trade-in requirements.

Bead Tokens
Total number of bead token pets (including river otters): 30 pets
Total number of bead token items: 2 sets of items*
*one of the sets gives out 26 random items out of 26 possible outcomes
Number of bead tokens required for the above: 99

Fish Tokens
Understanding a 1:1 ratio to bead tokens as 3 beads can yield 3 fish
Total number of fish token pets: 8 pets
Number of fish tokens required for the above: 24 fish

Bracelet Tokens
Total number of bracelet token pets: 22 pets
Total number of bracelet token items: 1 set (complete)
Number of bracelet tokens required for the above: 24 bracelets

As you need to trade bead tokens for fish tokens, the final bead token count is 123

Time Needed for Full Collection
Assuming optimal pulls and swaps, as noted above!
To collect 123 bead tokens you would need to collect tokens every 20 minutes for 2,460 minutes or 41 hours - under two days of straight token collecting, spread over 12 possible days

To collect 24 bracelet tokens you would need to collect a token every hour for 24 hours, spread out across 9 possible days.
For the bracelet tokens, the pull rate of tokens is slightly altered as a result of the possibility to pull a pet instead of a token!

Without getting too specific, the internet event appeared to have pet/item distribution as follows for 20-minute banners versus 1-hour banners...
- 20-minute banner pets: 139 tokens for 42 pets
- 1-hour banner pets/items: 23 tokens for 17 pets/2 item sets
In the 2022 Internet Event, the banner token collection ran for 12 days, with the 1-hour token opening on day 5 (8 days of collecting):

I don't have any real thoughts about the numbers, I just wanted to share what I pulled together out of my own curiosity ^^

Hm, my feedback only is that the otter outcomes from fishing in the lake were too difficult to obtain with the amount of tokens needed to fish. I missed out on two, something almost unheard of for me in previous events. Maybe, if there's a similar game in the future, there could be a way to trade one type of token for another after token collection is done, so you can use more of your not-needed ones to obtain missing outcomes. I have loads of fish I don't need to use.

(Please note I'm not asking for trades. I haven't traded here in ages as I can't tell what are considered fair trades or not so I gave up trying. Just an event suggestion.)

How many pets do we have TOTAL? The freebies and token, just total of ALL the Camp Smoothie pets...
The answer is 120.

I had forgotten the deer. Whoops. It was 120 of pets that had been grown up. Whoops

This. I was fortunate to get quite a few otters, but that left me low on fish and made it very difficult to get the pets that needed them.
I was left with a ton of bracelets, but hardly any beads. The beads I did manage to get were typically used to get fish so I struggled getting the other bead outcomes at the end of the event. Would have been nice if I could have traded the bracelets for beads to get more of those outcomes.

Hopefully next event will be more balanced. I wasn’t a fan of the fishing game requiring so many beads with 3 types of outcomes.

Me too! I was sad the Internet event didn't add a new arcade page to the site, but I'm really happy there is one now!

They added the duck race game from the jungle event! Seems like they'll probably be adding more, so cool to have all these saved!
