The lei sets were introduced on Day 10. All of them were randomly given at the surf & clothing shops on Day 10 as well as the banner except for the yellow & rainbow colored sets.

It means that the yellow and rainbow weren't given out in the shop, only the banner. Just confusing wording.

I couldn't get banners at all in the last day. I tried once repeatedly for an hour and just ended up giving up. Did anyone else have this problem?

and the event is over. to bad. just some last minute trade-ins left.

to bad the fishbowl-toss and pearl jewelry trade are no longer available. i could not reach the site the last 2 hours of the event so i could not make the last trades in those. luckly the other tokens can still be traded-in today ^^

those are back... theres a note on the home page stating that. Only getting one type of mermaid tail from the mermaid, so i dont think its randomized anymore.

I think maybe you just have bad luck with the mermaid. It still says "today's pick is random".
