i think i've seen something like this before! i assume in some scenarios, staff can bring back a pet that was accidentally deleted or something?? idk most the details nor do i know if its still possible to do, since i only saw it once for a very old pet, so take my words with a grain of salt. but when that happens, it'll give the pet the date it was brought back rather than the day it was first adopted!

Thanks for your answer! I went through the 2nd gen archive and found hes from Nov 2009 actually! I’ve heard some early litters spanned months, but your theory may just be correct. I’ll check a date thread to confirm c:

Thanks! I did find the culprit he’s an extended release. Apparently common with old 2nd gens.
