yes, starting the 1st, every day until christmas there will be new pets or items released every day
on dec 18th, there is a special release which is older pets - so you could get an older and possibly extremely valuable pet.. make sure you wait until they grow or consult the fair trade thread before trading them off because there are unfortunately a few ninja traders on the site who will try to send an unfair trade
