me and my friends are all artists, we regularly trade each other pets in exchange for both art commissions and gifts since we enjoy drawing each others OCs and we get pretty crazy when it comes to christmas art presents and exchanges. is it ok to exchange dec 18th pet drops for art, or can they only be traded for other pets/C$? thanks so much for your time ^^

Its not recommended to do this very often with friends/family as it can very easily end up looking like cheating. If you want to do this with a high value pets (like Dec 18th re-releases) we suggest submitting a help ticket before completing the trade. Let us know what will be sent and to which account and staff can let you know if/when its ok to proceed.

Hiii, hope everyones having a good holiday. I was just curious if there is a place to go to find out which pets from the event are a bit harder to come by during drops. I traded one last night that was apparently harder to obtain and I had no idea but others seemed to know, it hadn't been very long after it dropped so I was just curious on how people find out so soon? The trade was good and I don't regret it, I'm just wondering so I can look for future trades and to further help my understanding on things

I don't think there is anywhere specifically gathering this info, its really not possible to tell with 100% certainty until the rarities are released so its all just word of mouth. Its not always going to be accurate especially if people are guessing specific rarities. Its usually fairly easy to tell which is considerably more difficult to get just due to that outcome being asked for a lot more often on the swap thread and stuff like that, but you probably won't be able to tell much of a difference between a VC and common pet before rarities are out.

That said, you can use the trading advice thread (previously called the fair trade thread) to ask about specific trades and get other's opinions on them. And the conversation in the event chat thread will often turn to certain outcomes and if people are finding them harder to obtain or not (but its really only useful if you have the time to keep up with the thread).

Is there ways to punish players that like manipulate newbies for their good pets? I'm assuming since the staff knows when someone is using multiple accounts to get pets ^^

Scamming can be reported and dealt with by staff, however unfortunately there is not much they can do about ninja trading. There's more information about how to report scamming and the difference between scams and ninja trades here.

If you are talking about the December 18th re-release, then yes you have a chance of adopting a warrior cat from the boxes ^^

are people who joined CS during early or mid 2024 still eligible to get the december 18 pets? i know it mentioned users joining in december basically not being eligible, but i'm not entirely sure if i'm eligible for it.

I joined in early July 2017 and if I recall correctly, I was able to do Dec 18 2017. They never reveal the exact cutoff, but there's a good chance you'll be ok.
