After thinking about what this rat may be based on, I think I finally found it! It looks like he's based on the Cryptotora thamicola, or Waterfall Climbing Cave fish, for anyone curious (and assuming I'm correct lol).

i am absolutely in LOVE with the fish that are based off of real cave species!! i definitely recognize the raw-meat looking one as a waterfall climbing cave fish, and i think the light blue to light orange one is supposed to be a mexican cave tetra, but the one i'm the most excited about by far is the little deep blue one – is it a devils hole pupfish? if so, my life is absolutely made, and i need about five thousand

The last one (snail) is a Tumbling creek cave snail

Im not normally a huge fan of real species based pets in these events (ive always loved the more outlandish and imaginative pet designs as they are more often than not more fun to look at, this is part of why i never really liked the 2018 summer event.) but those waterfall fish-rodents are some of my favourite designs already and as someone who doesnt usually particularly like the rodents on CS much that says alot (its actually close to my opinion on horses with the summer event last year in that regard, im not that intrested in horses when it comes to this site but last years event had some of the best horses)

Any "Explanation" / anybody knows why the 4 PPS Token Pets from the 'Waterfall' have still not been added to the Archive, 23h after the Event has started...?

They are all PPS and "Full Grown", I don't see why they are still not listed in the Archive...?
=> Can't add them on WL, and it's a bit difficult to trade for those...

Or am I missing "something"...?

But really I love the Event anyway, "so far"..., and for the rest for sure also, ah-ah...!

I think it was pretty cool going around collecting things and the anticipation but in another sense I really wanted to see the pets and didn't want to have to wait so long.

not really, i thought it was nice that we start off with a challenge !

Yep, same Answer/Reaction like @acentric, we got one "easy" Litter of Free Pets and (Free) Items and Stamps, it's nice to "sweat" a bit to collect Tokens first before we can get the first Token Pets/Items, that's "part of the Game", or it wouldn't be an "Event"...

And Token Pets remain available for the whole Event, I think, so everybody will eventually get a chance to get them...
... Which is much-much "fairer" than last Easter Event (2021) for example, where 'Animal Eggs' were so randomly low that we couldn't even get spare ones to trade for missing ones...
